Convenient to all amenities. Breakfast was good& plenty. Hotel is a little tired-old dirty chairs lined up in lobbies. Dusty mantels on fireplaces. Too much furniture in the rooms- big coffee table not needed. Staff were all very nice

A well kept clean hotel in Drumheller. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool, hot tub and waterslide were a great feature of this hotel. We appreciated the ground floor access to our room from the street and also the hallway inside the hotel. We upgraded to a suite which included 2 burner stove, cutlery, frying pan and additional kitchen cupboard storage. The air conditioning in our room kept our room at a comfortable temperature the entire stay. Lots of selection available at the continental breakfast. Added bonus was a short walk to McDonald's in the same parking lot as the hotel.

We loved our stay and would have loved to stay longer. Our room seemed to be recently renovated and was very clean and comfortable. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and loved the pancakes with the offered berries, whipped cream and sprinkles.

Good stopover hotel.

Hotel was clean and had a good breakfast, would stay agian. Only issue was a huge party of kids was there and they where being unsafe on the pool/slide, so other families couldnt really enjoy the pool safely.

A great, convenient place to stay in Drumheller

Overall, it was great. Great location, pool with hot tub. The breakfast is not a full restaurant, but the food was great. The only blemish was the phone call from the manager accusing us of taking the chilled milk pitcher from the breakfast area. Every time I explained it wasn't us, he said something that implied I was lying. Why? Because it was on video. At one point, he said I was wearing a blue shirt. ... No, I said a grey shirt. This is the problem; to him, the video proof was absolute proof of our guilt. There was no other circumstance that could explain what he was seeing. This is wrong. Just as he got the colour of my shirt wrong, the stainless steel thermos my wife carried was what he saw. I was a computer draftsman for over thirty years, and I can tell you that what is seen on a screen of any kind is not necessarily the truth. Did he apologize? Yes. Was it enough? No.

Good stay

Hotel checked all the right boxes, but the hot tub was out of service and we were not told until we found out when we went to the pool. The reason I booked this hotel was fir the hot tub. Everything else was fine, great location and is clean.

Family and pet friendly hotel stay

Travelling with kids and a dog. Room was on the main floor with an exterior door so I could park right in front of our room. Breakfast had lots of choices. Only thing missing was hot chocolate, but the coffee was good and lots of tea options and fruit juices. The kids complained that the pool water was really cold and that wouldn’t have been as big of an issue if they could have warmed up in the hot tub, but the hot tub wasn’t working properly and the water was not very warm either.

Some things were insufficient. Room cleanliness: the beds were immaculate, lovely quality of mattress, linens, and pillows, but there was an old french fry on the floor under the heater. The table lamp between the beds had a burn out bulb (or simply wouldn't come on.) The shower in the pool area was fully cold water. On the other hand, the service was excellent. We had barely arrived in the pool when a staff member arrived and turned on the slide for us. The counter staff was apologetic and tried to find a replacement light bulb. The breakfast was hot and attractive with plenty of options, and the counters were kept clear. We loved being able to access hot coffee & water (with a china mug) in the lobby at all hours. This was an easy walk to Valley Brewing for a quiet night there; we loved your support for local brands with the dinosaur pops for sale in the lobby. Also love walking to the local grocery (Freson?) for their tasty and affordable goods. Of course, we went to the Tyrell on both days of our visit. Endlessly fascinating.
