On the plus side, I liked the location because it was easy walking distance distance to Vanderbilt. Also, it was very nice to have a kitchen, a Keurig with pods, and a washer and dryer. However, there are many things to be aware of. First of all, this is not a hotel. It is an apartment within a building. There is no front desk. When I arrived, my door code did not work to enter the apartment. I called and it took around 20 minutes for me to get the correct code, which was frustrating. Also, it is very loud. They give you earplugs, but they do not even start to block the street noise coming from 21st Ave. I was also surprised that there were not blackout curtains in the bedroom. They provided an eye mask which was very handy, but I would suggest they install a heavy duty drape would help to block out both the noise and the noise. One last thing, this apartment needs a refresh. The carpet in the bedroom was filthy. The shampoo holder in the shower was held up by duct tape. The paint was chipping....

The room layout was perfect for a friends trip. 2 separate bedroom/bathroom/closet spaces with a shared kitchen/living room space. I had 3 issues during my stay that will keep me from staying here again. 1. Street noise. I was on the 2nd floor. The first floor is restaurants. Restaurants that received deliveries very early in the morning. There's also a bus stop directly outside. It's also very close to a hospital, so there were ambulances and helicopters several times per night. Not the property's fault. It is what it is. 2. Because my room was on the 2nd floor, there was a streetlight literally 10 feet from my bedroom window. It was like daylight 24 hours a day. I'm a person who prefers darkness and I didn't get it at all. Again, not the property's fault. Maybe some blackout blinds, surtains, window tint...something to keep that light out. 3. Noisy upstairs neighbors. I don't know if they were giving squaredance lessons, moving furniture, practicing for a tap dance recital, or doing construction...but it was LOUD. Stomping around seemed almost intentional. I texted the number provided to make a noise complaint. Immediate response (👍) indicated they'd send someone to check on it. It didn't help. I never received any feedback, but the stomping seemed to actually get worse. The property was fine, but these issues will keep me from choosing this location in the future.

Great facility. Noisy neighbors!

Very clean. Everything I needed was available to me. The only negative was the night before I was supposed to leave. Please note that the rooms all surround a pool space where there are no expected quiet hours. There was a pool party outside all night. Still happening when I left for the airport at 3:30 in the morning. Besides that occurrence this was an amazing experience.

The room was perfect in every way. The only issue i had was no communication or support when we needed it trying to find where to park. The phone number i had was not helpful, it was a Marriott rep that had no idea where we were or any knowledge of the area. We finally just parked in a parking garage under the bldg and luckily our truck was still there this morning when we left. Hopefully we wont get charged extra for it since i paid for parking when we paid for our room. The link to register our truck was not helpful, it wouldnt let me finalize and submit the info that was supposed to be required. Other than that issue, our stay was great. The apt was just wonderful, very very nice, large and well arranged. Will definitely stay here again!
