Terrible mattress, bad restaurant food

The rooms are well-appointed, but the first room we got, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. We changed rooms after the first night, but all of the mattresses are soft and springy like a dorm mattress or a cot. The parking is blocks away, and the area doesn’t feel safe. The restaurant food was awful.

The hotel was set up differently as the reception is at the top floor and not when you enter the building. Very secure and comfortable highly recommended.

Excellent hotel and very clean. Very comfy bed, loved the little kitchen area in our room. Had food at Moxy our first night and it was dreadful we ordered chicken burgers and no idea what they served us but it wasn’t chicken, greasy wedges. Needless to say we didn’t eat it or go there again. Definitely give that a miss. Breakfast at residence inn was lovely, hot and cold buffet again very clean. Car park a bit of a walk from hotel and didn’t look particularly safe but thankfully car was fine.

Was a good property. The only negative in the room was the smell of mold in the bathroom. (The water runs out of the shower and onto the floor. I'm guessing that seepage is causing some mold in the wall.) Everything else in the room was good. The area is a little questionable, especially at night. Parking (and getting a taxi/Uber) is a pain due to the location on one-way streets. A short walk to the train station. Overall, I would stay again if in the area.

Beware- this hotel over books rooms!

I was moved to another hotel after receiving an email 15 minutes before I was able to check in. Apparently they had overbooked the hotelThis was a downgrade. I was offered a free meal in the restaurant for the evening as way of apology. This was no benefit as I was not eating at the hotel. I enquired about a partial refund but have received no response. The hotels.com site also says there is parking, but this is via a public multi storey 5 minutes walk away

New India without the charm

The room itself and hotel interior were acceptable and in decent condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunetly the general experience was not very good. Regarding the room, it was ok, but there was no proper hot water, the shower was lukewarm verging on cool during the 3 days we were there. The food at the hotel restaurant was not very good. The included buffet breakfast was unfortunetly terrible. I took 2 boiled eggs, 1 was overcooked black and the other was raw. Same for the food at 'Moxy' bellow. But the main issue with this hotel is the location/neighborhood. The general area is terribly dirty. There is a Tesco (supermarket) conveniently located 2 blocks away, but walking there from the hotel is nauseating, there is an intense urine stench on both sidewalks, left and right sides of the road. The streets and shops felt like being in India, the people, signs etc. If you wanted to visit India just visit Slough, you get the experience without having to travel as far.

Room was clean, and the staff was professional, friendly and very helpful. The only thing we didn't like was that there was no secured parking at the hotel, and we had to walk five minutes to an off-site parking lot, which I didn't feel comfortable doing at night.

Simply amazing. I’m am extremely picky when it comes to the comfort and cleanliness of a hotel and this checked all the boxes. The service at the front desk was top notch. Thank you Ms. Anu! What really blew me away is anytime we requested any thing from housekeeping it was there in a matter of moments!l and with extras! The breakfast was okay, but the restaurant’s food was nice. This will always be our spot when visiting England

Strange 2 in 1 hotel where you may need to check in at the Moxy because staff doesn't always work the Residence Inn desk. Very weird. Nice room, great size. Not a far walk to the train station going to Windsor Castle but it is in an unsafe area. I wouldn't recommend walking here at night or alone if a women or child.
