Esplanade team really made our NewQuay experience memorable. From check-in, they had a birthday card waiting for us and a wine voucher. Then, they proceeded to give the kids “a build your stuffed animal” which sent them to cloud 9. Throughout our stay, they went far and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The dinner and breakfast buffet was delicious and everyone was kind, cheerful and helpful. The hotel was kids and pet friendly. The location was just 5 minutes to Pestral beach . The hot tub, Sunna , Arcade and swimming pool were all well maintained. Most importantly, they took their time to work out an adjustment to our booking when we needed a last minute extension. This has been the best birthday weekend experience thanks to them!!! We highly recommend for anyone going to Cornwall. Thank you so much!! Favour C

The only criticism I have was the cove restaurant was over priced and the service was slow and we asked for a dessert menu and waited about 45 minutes other people with babies were serviced before us we felt ignored by the staff and then to add service charge of £8.10 was a really bad when there really was no service at all My husband and I were on the 2nd floor and he couldn’t manage all the steps so they did move us to the 1st floor however our room was tiny but I couldn’t ask them to move us again so we stuck with it but would have preferred a bigger room when your paying £150 a night the swimming pool was lovely I think when you have teenagers maybe they need to have things for them to do to like mocktail making or movies for teens or arts and crafts for them etc

It was the first time staying at this hotel. It was a great place overall but what made it an amazing experience was thr hotel staff especially Matthew. We love coming to your hotel as it gives us all the things we need. Location is perfect surf shop for our fun. Unfortunately we always seem to have bad experiences with the restaurant it always gets sorted but would be nice if it didn’t happen. On a brighter note the staff are fantastic and always there to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Many thanks. See you soon
