i work in Cleveland but live 2hrs away. I got stuck because of the snow and ice. Booked room after i got off a 13hr night shift. Had to pay $25 extra for very early check in at 9am. I get to hotel and then have to wait till around 10:20am to check in because there is no one at the desk. I looked around the grounds and called the number, no one answered. I feel should be refunded at least the $25 if not whole amount. I only used the room to sleep in for 7hrs until 5pm when i had to go back to work. The room was decent. Looked and smelled clean.

Door of my room was previously kicked in. Broken door frame. No metal socket for the door latch to go in, just a craggy wooden hole. How does this pass state inspection for safety? There was grime all over - barbecue sauce on the wall and dirt and scuffs on the walls and back of doors. Old furniture outside the building, boxes piled up in the re eption.

I was only needing a night of peaceful sleep, to then continue my journey to my destination. The shower head was to short, for me. Having to duck to get hair washed. I am 6’, construction began shortly after six, and awaiting me. Breakfast was limited to cold cereal, or waffle batter.

The room was clean but I reserved a king bed but apparently th staff gave my reserved room to someone else, so I got 2 doubles, which were both extremely lopsided, there was no toilet paper holder, there were no washcloths, there were 2 things of shampoo but no conditioner, and even though I paid on the website when I reserved my room, the hotel staff charged me on a different card for the room, so I was charged twice and am having to figure out how to sort it all out and get my double payment back. Also, I got some breakfast and the milk smelled sour and my yogurt was a week past the expiration date.

The room was clean upon arrival and the staff was nice. They came in after the first night to take the trash and leave fresh towels, but didn’t come back for the rest of our stay which was a little odd, but not a big deal. The hotel is undergoing major renovations as there were materials such as large rolls of carpeting and furniture all over the place outside the building. It wasn’t an issue, I’m just excited to come back after it’s all finished to see the end result.

The staff was absent. We heard voices from the breakfast room, asked if we could be checked in. They went all over the property to find someone to check us in. The place is under renovation. Boxes are literally leaning on every wall, down the front of the buildings and in the lobby.

Upon arriving Oct 2, we were given a Room, King Bed, but it was not mobility accessible. The room itself did not meet our reservation requirements but we could not secure another hotel in the area so we had to stay. The hotel itself was an absolute mess. Rooms were being remodeled and building materials were all over the parking lot. Carpeting that had been pulled out of rooms was just left rolled up near the front of rooms. (Please see attached photos) The second day the manager/owner happened to be near our room and apologized for the mess but failed to clean it up the entire length of our stay. The lobby has cardboard boxes all over and in the chairs, very dirty. The breakfast consisted of cereal and a waffle iron that you make your own-----we passed and went out to eat. On the day we left absolutely no ice---my husband surmised they had used it all for the breakfast prep and we couldn’t wait for the machine to make more. The room was just adequate in that my husband is handicapped and in asking for mobility accessible, the toilet was a regular toilet, not a handicapped toilet. The shower had a tub and it was difficult for him to climb over the tub to get in to use the shower. There were no towel bars in the bathroom to hang our towels for easy access after showering. The moulding in the bathroom was separating from the walls. The door would not close because it was not aligned to the frame. The toilet flushed like an explosion!!! Seriously. We had to close
