Overall a nice hotel for the price. Rooms were a reasonable size and very clean, bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. The area isn’t great though, we didn’t feel super safe walking through the area at night and you have to walk 10-15 minutes to find any restaurants.

Nie wieder in ein B&B

„Badezimmer“ – keine Möglichkeit, nasse Handtücher in einem unbelüfteten Raum trocknen zu lassen, in dem es keinen Handgriff gibt, sondern nur einen Haken, sodass sie bis zum nächsten Tag nass daran hängen bleiben; außerdem fehlt eine gute Abluftventilation, insbesondere da sich dort auch eine Toilette befindet; Licht – von einem Bett aus kann man das Licht über dem „Tischchen“ ausschalten, vom anderen Bett aus jedoch nicht, man muss aufstehen und zur Tür gehen, um es auszuschalten; am zweiten Bett fehlt eine Steckdose; Kissen – unbrauchbar, wenn man den Kopf darauf legt, sinkt man bis auf das Leintuch durch; WLAN-Netzwerk – dumme Verbindung mit einem seltsamen Verfahren, ohne Passwort !! (kompliziert durch einen Link über den Browser, der die Anmeldeseite nicht gefunden hat, das Personal wusste nicht weiter, ebenso wie die angegebene Telefonnummer), sodass mein Computer (im bisher einzigen Hotel) keine Verbindung herstellen konnte und ich 5 Tage lang ohne garantiertes Internet war !!; Wenn der Gastgeber keine Anwendung erstellen kann, die mit allen Browsern kompatibel ist, sollte er sich nicht daran versuchen; Minikühlschrank – heute auch in weitaus günstigeren Unterkunftskategorien Standard, fehlt; Parkplatz – nicht umzäunt, völlig freier Zugang zu jedem Auto (=> als hätte ich es irgendwo auf der Straße geparkt, nur dass ich hier für dieses „Parken” bezahlen musste) und an der Rezeption gab es auch keine Videoüberwachung dieser Bereiche mit Aufzeichnung.

Sehr nettes Personal, unkomplizierter Check-In und Check-Out. Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmäßig, aber etwas hellhörig wenn man lautere Zimmernachbarn hat. Nur einen kurzen Fußweg vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Der Weg kann aber abends/nachts doch etwas einschüchternd wirken, gerade wenn man alleine unterwegs ist.

Hotel nei pressi della stazione ferroviaria di Mainz in una zona tranquilla e facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione Dall'Hotel si può raggiungere il centro di Mainz in poco meno di 15min. Lo staff gentile, disponibile e sempre presente in struttura ad ogni ora. La camera era veramente molto comoda, silenziosa e pulita. Consigliato.

The room was missing some standard amenities. There was no coffeee maker, no tissues, no closet and no drawers. They charged us an additional €15 to check in at 14:15 or we would have to sit in the lobby until 15:00 even though the room was ready.

Within easy reach of main train station

Decent hotel, twin room was smaller than expected. I was surprised that they charge for an early check-in, even though the room is ready. Maybe that’s a European thing? Was tricky finding the right path walking to the hotel if you exit train station’s back door. Google maps wasn’t very helpful. If you exit through the front door you have to walk through a long underpass which was a bit creepy depending on time of day.

Hotel ist gut gelegen in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und auch der Innenstadt. BEdies gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zimmer war sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Personal könnte etwas freundlicher sein. Frühstück für 12 Euro mehr als ok könnte reichhaltiger sein
