Check in and check out were very simple, the staff were friendly, though there werent very many, so at times the front desk would be unmanned. The grounds were mostly neat, but in need of some repair and refresh.
The parking lot, wall trim, and floor coverings are in serious need of tlc. Im not sure if the current staff or management have the capacity to truly upkeep this property and compete with other hotels. Carpet is in need of replacement altogether given its dated appearance and smell. A deep cleaning of all surfaces, inluding walls, and a refresh of the elevator would help this property shine. More cleaning staff to handle room cleanliness is also desired, as much of the room supplies were missing, and the coating of dirt and grease on backsplashes and fixtures were disappointing. Attention to detail is severly lacking. Wynhdam would do well by setting aside capital to upgrade lighting fixtures in the common areas, and eventually the guest rooms to LED, with a higher footcandle rating. The hallways are dim and with the dated and odored carpet, leaving guests feeling as though they are in a horror movie. The beds were comfortable and made neat, but if the linens were fresh is questionable, given the stains on the pillow case and sheets
The pool and pool area were perfect!
