Overall the hotel and trip were great. The food was delicious and it was nice to have a little beach that you could actually swim in out front. Just a few things to note, they don’t answer the phone when you call the front desk, it just rings and rings and rings. Also, don’t fall for the free shopping tour. They tell you they take you to town to go shopping for two hours, but its closer to a 5 hour trip and they force you to stop at Matisses jewelry for 45 minutes ( which by the way is fake jewelry and just cut and died glass) and then a “tequila factory” for 45 minutes before they’ll pick you up and then they take you to town. Even if no one on the bus wants to go, they still force you. Might just be worth the taxi ride. When we talked to the hotel about the misguided information, they just say that doesn’t sound like our hotel…

Ok food but amazing (kids) facilities and staff

A great experience, especially if you have small kids as they had plenty of pool and non-pool activities to keep them busy. The food was ok in the mexican and italian restaurants (according to our tastes), however it was really good in the steak house and the buffet restaurant. Note: the steak house requires prebooking. We missed a bit more greens and veggies in the evening snack bar. One more con was that the private beach had too much sea weed (which they tried their best to keep clean) and that it didn't have the amazing turquoise water (as in the Hotel Zone). Other than that it was an amazing experience, mainly because of the staff in the entire resort. They always succeeded in answering an questions or requests. One thing we really appreciated was that it was possible to use ALL of the facilities even after check out since our return flight was late in the evening. And on this note have to give extra kudos on the hospitality room which is basically a fully equipped place to shower after check out.

- voll mit ix Kindern - zu wenig Liegen - zu wenig Schattenplätze - Sauberkeit im Hauptrestaurant auf den Tischen leider nicht gewährt, das Tischset wird gleich weiter benutzt für die nächsten Gäste - Personal ist bemüht, hat einfach viel zu tun - tolle Idee mit den a la carte Restaurants (früh kommen sonst lange Wartezeit) - hatten hier (und nur hier) alle mit "Montezumas Rache" zu kämpfen :( - Mehrabschnitt nicht der Schönste - diverses "under construction": ganzer Poolabteil war geschlossen, Basketball + Tennis geschlossen.. - nicht meine Art von Hotel

A hotel for families with small children

The food was good, the service was good. A huge number of of screaming kind made it hard to stay by the pool, in the lobby bar or the restaurants. I did not join the 06.30 army of guests occupying sunbeds for the rest of the day, so never got a sunbed. Why not have enough !!?? A sunbed on our big terrace would have been nice. Why did we have to que for the buffet restaurant to sign in and get a table - we are quite capable to find a table. For breakfast and lunch we had only a the buffet restaurant to get a good meal - why not open more options ! Sensira is probably good for familes with small children, not anyone else.

Average stay, not worth paying the upgrade

It was a fine stay you just need to know they’re a bit short staffed so it takes time to get room service, help with your bags, refills on your mini bar, etc. Also, I paid for Amber Club level which is supposed to come with a “butler” service and was told they would be reaching out to me but I never was contacted by my butler so never received that service.

The property was incredible for families with kids. Our little ones loved the kids pool, trampoline area, beach option, buffet meals, zipline, movies and games. Staff was all wonderful, helpful, and kind. Would definitely recommend to those with small kids who want to keep them entertained and desire an all-inclusive atmosphere.

Pros: The cabanas are free, and the facilities are clean. The kids' club is great, and Kayla (with short hair) was especially friendly, making the kids happy. Cons: The ocean water wasn’t very clear. The buffet food was bland and repetitive. The staff and concierge were unhelpful.

The experience was amazing! It’s the first time I see all inclusive that is actually all inclusive including the kids club which is amazing! Etzel in the kids club is wonderful my kids love her even they were there for just one hour. The best part is there is no wrist bands so no matter what type of room you have, everyone is treated the same. But even better there are not Time Share sale representatives! Very clean place and they cleaned our room every day without us asking them. They have a buffet which food is good everything excel for the sushi, they need to improve a lot with the Japanese food but other than that they have a nice variety of dishes every day. They have 4 different restaurants one is adults only, omg just try them Spectacular! Food is nothing but great and service is amazing. They all have a theme. The only thing you pay extra for is room service which is $10, not bad at all. And of course activities outside the hotel and the spa are things not included obviously. If you can, enjoy the spa, better than any other I have been before. Estefany and Yesi took care of me and their service went above and beyond. Yesi is amazing! The best massage I have ever had came from her, very professional and sweet. Staff is more than recommended, the guys by the pool and restaurant are so pleasant and professional, always asking what else they can do for you! Going above and beyond Ivan Ceron nothing but great, very nice, did everything on his hands to make us feel welcomed
