I had stay before around Rome termini and out of all areas have stayed this is THE best area I can recommend. It feels safe, is super walkable to all areas, busses stops, trains and food around. I walked until very night and I didn’t feel unsafe at all. In other areas around termini this never happened, so extra point for this area. The staff is ok, straight to the point and that’s it, rooms are good and clean and with A/C even in the halls walking to your room there is A/C working 24/7 and I appreciate that, mostly in summer season. Recommend this place

The Cambridge is one of MANY hotels in the Termini area. It is located just three blocks from Termini, making the location very convenient. The staff is EXCELLENT. If you are unfamiliar with European hotels you will be shocked by how small the rooms are; that is common. But the room was clean and functional.

It was a very disappointing hosting experience. The facilities are old and in poor condition. The internet is lousy, the connection is very slow and unstable, it practically does not allow you access. The hotel is expensive and not worth it, they also surprise you with hidden charges. If you can avoid it, do it, I would not recommend it at all.

Passable

The location and pricing of the hotel is reasonable (which is the reason why we picked this hotel) and the staff in the reception were helpful. But the room, especially the bathroom really needs renovation. The hair dryer does not work and the toilet box kept leaking water all over the place. The room isolation is very very bad. There was a noisy group that arrived on our second day and we were so disturbed that we went down to report it. The day we left it was again super loud around midnight. It woke us up and the noise didn't stop until 1 am. Not fit for light sleepers.

Totally not worth your money! I stayed there solo and got a room on the first floor. When checking in at 11 pm I had to wait 10 minutes because the receptionist was on the phone and answered the phone again while checking me in. Totally not friendly. The lamp in the hallway was broken so had to turn on the lamp on my phone every time to open the room door. I stayed in room 14. It was actually a room for disabled people. In the room itself I had no signal and no wifi. In this day and age that should not be possible. The shower was terrible, couldn't shower properly without getting everything wet. And there was no decent lamp so you showered in the dark. Also the bathroom mirror was disgusting. I also had to shorten my vacation because of strikes of the trains which I couldn't do anything about myself. For this I could not get my money back. They show no compassion.

Déception par rapport à l’annonce

La chambre était propre et le personnel disponible. Cependant, l’hôtel ne correspond ni à un 3 étoiles, ni aux photos et à la description faite. L’hôtel est vieillot et vétuste (décoration, installations générales…) : * un lit double : nous avions 2 lits simples regroupés avec un drap. * Une odeur d’humidité dans la chambre et dans la salle de bain * le froid qui passe par les fenêtres * un petit déjeuner continental qui se résume en choix : à une viennoiserie, un jus et une boisson chaude (possibilité d’un yaourt et d’un fruit) pour 8€ * l’insonorisation qui n’est plus d’actualité * Pas de bouilloire / cafetière ou même une bouteille d’eau dans la chambre en arrivant Nous aurions pu être moins regardant si cela n’avait pas été mis en avant sur les photos. Nous avons déjà réservé un 3* à Rome et nous avions une qualité largement supérieur à celle ci, qui correspondait à un 2*. Cependant l’hôtel est idéalement placé : 10 min à pied de termini (gare / métro / bus) et à 30 min à pied de la fontaine de Trevi.
