Beautiful little resort just outside of the hustle and bustle of Monteverde. Owner met us to show us around the property and let us check in early. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful property and room. Excellent food from the on site restaurant. Excellent staff. Spotless room. If we ever come back to Monteverde I wouldn’t look to stay anywhere else .10/10 all day long

The owner, Don Carlos, makes you feel at home. He is welcoming, gives you plenty of information about Monteverde, its history and the best places to eat and go. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!!!

Carlos and Paola are superb hosts who make you feel completely at home. The staff are kind and sweet and always helpful. Casa Batsu is supremely comfortable, full of color and charming places to relax and chat or read.

This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Carlos is kind, attentive and very knowledgeable about the area. He clearly is passionate about Monteverde and its surroundings. He has a wonderful crew to accommodate your stay. He is an amazing chef, too. Do not hesitate to book your stay!

Tout simplement parfait !
La chambre était simplement parfaite et le service attentionné. Tout le personnel est gentil, le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Il s'agit du meilleur petit déjeuner de notre voyage. Le cadre est relaxant avec un beau jardin où de nombreux oiseaux s'arrêtent le temps d'un concert. Merci Casa Batsu pour avoir créer de merveilleux souvenirs dans nos têtes.

Property is very good, location and cleanliness is great. Only inconvenience was there was no AC. AC is not needed night time and mornings, however during afternoon time, AC is needed in the room.

The host Carlos was incredibly helpful with arranging transportation and booking activities. One day he took us to a beautiful overlook himself. The breakfasts were filling, delicious and varied. One night Carlos cooked us a 4 course meal that was one of the best dinners we had on our entire trip. There were many pretty trees and flowers surrounding the outdoor patio. Every day we saw exotic birds that had come to feed there. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
