隔音很差，隔壁電視跟聊天聲音聽得一清二楚；淋浴間的門會刮傷腳跟；四人房只附兩個漱口杯跟2瓶水；但是飯店地點很方便，床還算舒適，雖然偶爾會遇到枕頭套上有污漬，淋浴間水很小，但整體還算不錯。

The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but actually quite disgusting. I had an emergency and had to leave early the next morning. I was able to give them 36 hours notice, but they wouldn’t even consider refunding me a portion of my second night’s stay. I lost a pair of prescription sunglasses and I believe I did so in the lobby. I asked them if they had been turned in and they said “no”. I asked if I could leave my name and phone number in case they turned up and the receptionist said, “well, how do we know they are yours?” I looked at her in disbelief and said, “well maybe because I just described them to you in detail and also – they have prescription lenses?” Would never stay here again.

The location was great. I would stay again for that reason. The hotel decor is nice. The room was fairly clean, but I found a black hair on my pillow and an old orange juice behind the curtain. The breakfast was yummy but paying ahead was not always convenient (we sometimes decided things last minute) so we only ate there once. There was a cafe/snack place but it seemed to open late and had long lines so I couldn’t grab coffee in the morning. However there is a Dunkin’ right across the street. That too was always very crowded, I would plan to order ahead and pick up. We ended up having to drive in due to a cancelled flight and there is a robo garage that takes your car away right when you pull in, and it was right next door, steps away, it felt safe (since we drove in at night), however expensive as to be expected for manhattan.

Took a minute to figure out how to turn on the lights in the room- would have been nice if the front desk staff had told me upon check-in. Also our room had 2 queen beds but they were pushed together to make one big bed so that kind of defeated the purpose- the room wasn’t really big enough to separate the beds and the end tables were built in anyway. The mattress and pillows were too soft for us, but I recognize some people prefer soft over firm.

Loved this hotel! It was right around the corner from Time Square and a few blocks from the theater where our show was. We didn't realize it, but we were just about one block from the diamond district and we'd always wanted to see that. Centrally located to be to 5th ave etc within minutes, too. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. They let us check in early and always great to be able to check luggage at the bell services. I highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel’s location is truly spectacular, close to everything and perfect for exploring the city. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. I especially want to highlight the staff who helped with our luggage; they were incredibly attentive and genuinely charming. Excellent value for the price. We will definitely be coming back.

I stayed at RIU Plaza New York Times Square with my family and there were many things the hotel did very well. The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast staff were polite and did a great job. I also loved how the beds were tied together. For a dad, mom, a 12 year old, and a 7 year old, that setup worked far better than two separate beds. The under bed storage was genius and the USB charging ports everywhere were a huge improvement over the place we stayed in upstate New York. Now the problems. I hate the silhouette bathroom door. I am traveling with kids and do not want bathroom outlines visible through the door. A solid sliding door would be much better. The fire alarm blinked bright green all night. If there is one reason not to stay here, it is that light. I called the desk and maintenance came to room 4702. The worker had a Russian accent which should help identify him for management. He looked at the alarm and said the green light blinks so you know it is working and rudely said,”Wear sleep mask.” That interaction along with the terrible sleep removed 3 stars. The other issue was noise all night. Bump, tap, bonk sounds nonstop for two nights. My guess is the elevators running all night in Times Square. Also, hallway doors slam loudly and the toilet splashes water when it flushes. Great breakfast and cleanliness, but the blinking alarm and noise really need attention.
