The room was spacious and ok. Staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Swimming pull is nice and not crowded, but the air temperature was high so not pleasent to stay long. The price was a bit high, but we noticed it was for some reason lower on other weekends. The hotel is located close to shopping centres and a bit far from the town.

Excellent hotel in Covilhã, we visit Covilhã every couple of months for medical reasons, there are two hotels that we use, both with pools, depending upon the price at the time. This time it was Donna Marie. Excellent as always, everything works, is clean, and relaxing. The pool area is incredible, a good sized indoor pool, poolside recliners, jacuzzi and shower. The outdoor area is really cool Lots of recliners and squishy chairs & sofas with parasols ☺️ Very good breakfast buffet, the fried eggs are cooked to perfection 😋 Lots of breads, meats, eggs, veg, puddings & desserts, three coffee machines, and a yoghurt machine ! Plus free parking and its close to the centre of Covilhã 🥰

The breakfast was tasty. The space is open and well lit. The food was fresh and continually replenished. There was assistance if you needed it. They kept everything very clean. I love the spa treatments. I got a scrub and a massage excellent. Highly recommend the spa. The staff was very nice and helpful. My Portuguese is not that great. They were able to help me with English. The room is clean, felt airy, and fresh. I had a view of the valley. It was very nice. Parking was easy.
