Our daughter left her $500 head phones in the room and they called us right after check out to come get them. This alone, for me, earns them a 5 star rating. Vishu, and the young Asian guy at the front counter were among the kindest people we met in Vancouver. And the hotel location is so convenient for the sky train.

Would never stay there again...im sure they offer an 'hourly' rate. Shoes on at all times while awake, slept on top of a blanket I brought from home, gross 'splash' marks up the wall near the bed...just no.

Awesome little hotel with great character. You can tell she’s old so the little things didn’t bother me it’s clean and very spacious. Staff are the most friendly I’ve ever seen at hotel. 100% for that. A few spots of wear and tear but beds were clean and comfy. Close walk to the sky train and the quay for all its cute stores and views

I stayed just one night at this hotel as it was close to my place of work. This older property stands up well. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and well appointed. I will for sure stay again when I have work at this site.

We came for the weekend and the hotel is in so so condition. We didn’t feel like we should take our shoes off on the carpets. The ceiling height was nice and the front desk staff was nice. The parking seemed a bit excessive at $18 a day for New Westminster getting a discount at the pub even if it’s only 10% was nice.

Misleading Rating — Very Disappointing Stay

The hotel is located in a terrible, unsafe area surrounded by homelessness and drug activity. I don’t understand how it could receive such a high rating. The hotel itself is old, and our “deluxe” room with two queen beds had a dirty carpet and a bathroom with hair on the shower wall. Unloading luggage was a nightmare, as you have to stop at a bus station with the risk of getting a ticket from the police. The parking situation was also very sketchy, and I woke up several times in the middle of the night due to noise from the street. Overall, the place feels depressing and unsafe. I would not recommend staying here.
