I had a lovely stay at Hyatt Place for almost a week. It started off great from the go, when I arrived feeling a bit under the weather and asked if I could have an early check-in. That was granted, complimentary. The room was lovely, great bed, soft pillows, clean and modern. The only minus would be that the air was a bit stale and you can't open the window. Also, I don't know if there was another room or something else right above me, but whomever was there made quite a ruckus. Sound doesn't really bother me though. I had everything I needed in my room. Breakfast was practical in the sense that you are seated, which I liked. Outside of that, breakfast at British hotels aren't as appealing as in Scandinavia, not as many fresh items, scramble is alright. A lot of heavy items, bacon is under for me, and eggs had a greasy taste to them. I stuck to cereal many times. Loved the small croissants though. Staff were all lovely and helpful, and other than that I liked the location of the hotel and the way it was set up.
I would think that anyone who needs wheelchair access could struggle a bit with the reception being on the lower level and not ground level, and the elevators being behind doors that do not auto-open. Would be nice to see that upgraded. Would definitely stay here again in the future!
