We stayed here over-night prior to departing the next day for a Princess Mediterranean 32 day cruise. Our checking was VERY slow considering we got to the check in person right away. We changed from a Superior Room and down-graded to an accessible room which seemed to cause the delayed check in. All together it took about 20 minutes to check in. No discount was offered for the requested downgrade.
MY OVERALL RATING: I give it a mixed 3/4 out of 5. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Hotel is located about 25 minutes from BCN airport by cab which cost about 40 Euros. The hotel is conveniently located downtown and not far from the cruise ship terminals, Bathroom towels were "Motel 6" standard quality (surprising to see this low of quality of towels here considering the high price we paid for our room). Bedding was nothing exciting, Just plain-Jane.
At check-in you produce your normal passport and credit card BUT they also want loads of personal information too on a iPad like your birthrate, street address, cell number, city, nationality, etc. More info requested than any other hotel we have stayed at world-wide.
Our room was an "accessible room" or considered a handicap room. It had plenty of room to maneuver around in if using a wheelchair. Door opening to the room & bathroom were the perfect size. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of room. These rooms have no outside exterior view.
