The hotel is really outdated. The carpet is pretty terrible, the shower head is great if you're under 5 feet tall, the hot and cold are reversed (don't burn yourself), the sink is literally rusted through near the overflow drain, the curtains are broken, the ceiling is stained. The walls here are thin, so if you love the ambience of your neighbor, then this is the place for you. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful.

During the time of our stay at that hotel, there was no air conditioning.Just fans. It was really hot that weekend. And we requested a second fan, so it did cool down to bed. But not having the air conditioner makes one melt. The hotel itself was pretty nice.Clean and everybody was pleasant.But the fact of not having air conditioning was not good

i only needed to stay one night but check in was easy, place was quite even though its located near what seems to be a busy street and it was located near lots of things. The big issue was that the A/C was down. they were very apologetic and had a pair of fans already going in the room when i got there and they were extending a discounted rate to the guest because of the issue. other than that It was a nice stay. Its nothing extravagant, its an older hotel but if you just need some sleeping quarters, this will do.

I have stayed here many years ago for work and it was a nice place offering homemade cookies in the afternoon. Fast forward to 2026, this place needs a huge facelift and renovation. Toilets barely flush, I can blow harder than the a/c and the room truly never got comfortable. Very disappointed but location was great!

This is a quaint older hotel going through some repairs. It is very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a good place to rest your head on a long drive. The continental breakfast consisted of cold cereal, white toast w/ butter and jelly, orange juice,coffee, and fruit. Enough to take the edge off and get ready for another long drive.

Good location, convenient parking and a decent breakfast. I could look past the carpeting in the hallways that has mats over the areas where it's bunched up to prevent tripping or the torn curtains in the room, but one of the queen beds in my room has a broken box-spring right down the middle which had fallen through the bed-frame onto the ground below. This caused the mattress above to swallow you in a V shape. The other bed, though not broken, wasn't much better. Avoid if you have any kind of back problems. Clean room however, so kudos to the housekeeping.

Friendly staff at check in. The facilities are dated and in need of an interior refresh. I actually like places that have history and character, however, it still needs to have finishes redone once and a while. The price is right and the location is convenient for Carson City so no complaints. I’d likely stay again due to the price, but it would be much better if they could update the finishes. Breakfast is only coffee and packaged oatmeal unless I missed something.
