Hotel barely - and reception involved in taxi scam

Stay was fine for quick stop. The room was dirty (found nuts and other junk on the floor). Biggest issue was the taxi transportation scam. Hotel reception offered shuttle, and “warned” us of taxi scams. But we decided to take the taxi. However, when we got in the taxi - we could see the taxi driver was calling Mr Kerin from the hotel personally and of course we got overcharged. It was clear after the fact that the hotel man works with some of the taxi drivers for a kick back. The taxi was 200 Lire more than it should have been, and driver had started the meter for quite a while before we got into the car (we entered the car and the meter was already at 162.5 TL, should have been 42-62). The hotel should check to see if there is funny business between the guy at reception and the taxi drivers. He pretends to be helpful - it he is actually scamming you.

The temperature outside was 18C and they ONLY put the AC to 19C, the AC in our room was not working but they did not care, even after I explained it was not possible to be in the room because it was ver, very hot, my wife being pregnant and with skin condition, none of that matter them, we even contacted Expedia support (is how we did the booking) and they rejected the request to connect with the hotel manager. We booked transportation to airport and they charged us 10 euros more just for paying with card. They do not have kitchen in the hotel but still they will try to sell you overpriced (4 times the price they will charge you) food, they don't even have prices on the menu, and they order the food from local places just in the corner. I do not recommend this place if you want tog have peace of mind. The area is full of hotels so you definitely should find a better one

Horrible

The only positive thing was the reception upon arrival. The room was substandard, with hair on the sheets and floor suggesting it had been used. The bathroom had toilet paper on the floor and in the wastebasket, so it hadn't been cleaned before our arrival. The toilet seat wasn't cleaned properly. Furthermore, the noise from some pipes that ran for hours made it impossible to sleep, added to the noise from other rooms. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport to rest for a few hours, and the result was disastrous. Lo único positivo la recepción al entrar, la habitación no tenía estándares de limpieza aceptables con pelos en las sábanas y el suelo que hacían pensar que había sido utilizada, el aseo con papel higiénico en el suelo y en la papelera por lo que no había sido limpiado para nuestra entrada, la tapa del WC no sé mantenia. Además el ruido de alguna tubería durante horas imposibilitaba el sueño añadido al ruido en otras habitaciones, cogimos este hotel por cercanía al aeropuerto para descansar unas pocas horas y el resultado fue nefasto.
