Terrible

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at… the entire place was dirty we had to ask for our own broom to sweep ourselves and keep our shoes on or your feet would be black. Zero room service we had to go and take the trash out in our ONE TINY trash can only that was provided for a two bedroom suite. We had to go get our own towels. We killed three roaches one of which was in my shoe in the middle of the night… the beach was roped off directly in front of the oceanfront room we paid for. The description of the room said the pool was available only closed 4/10-4/30 each year we stayed 4/4-4/8 and the pool was disgustingly green and locked up as if it hadn’t been open in months (the pool and oceanfront were the reasons we stayed there). There were so many teenagers out at night it was uncomfortable to leave the room and weed smoke filled our room and the hallways the entire time we were there. During our stay there was a shooting directly in front of our hotel as well… not to mention the parking was terrible management allowed people to block off the entrance and when I asked about this they told us to go around the block and just pull in the exit which is a one way and a good way to get hit… when I confronted the front desk and asked to check out and only get a refund for the days we weren’t going to be there she informed me “you leave if you want no refund for any reason ever” worst place I’ve stayed and it’s sad you can tell once upon a time this was a nice place but it’s run down now

Great Place to Stay

Was a very good price for the stay. Room was clean and had a beatiful view from the balcony. You could walk straight from the hotel onto to beach and also access all restuarants/ stores right outside the hotel! There is a nice playground within walking distance so its a good place to stay if you have kids. The front desk people were very nice and answered any questions we had. Parking was good. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance so we didnt get to see it but its on the 8th floor so it would have been an awsome view. You do have to put a deposit towards not smoking in the room but you do get that back personally I felt that was a reasonable ask we dont smoke so it wasnt an issue for us. Before we went there the reviews had us concerned but its nothing like any of those bad reviews we read!! We would definitely stay agian.

Terrible weekend

Would not recommend pricing from reservations changed which caused the reservation to be wrong had to pay even more to get it fixed.. got to the rooms had roaches in the bathroom.. power breaker was broken (fire hazard) so some of the power in the room didn’t work … broken cabinets and accessories in the bathroom … fridge didn’t work …. No towels in rooms apon getting there … sofa bed was broken in one oth the rooms … there was a shooting out side the hotel and the hotel was on lock down

Building is old. In need of a deep cleaning. Pool not open supposedly closed for seasonal maintenance but was not aware when booking. No towels in room. When i requested towels was only provided 1 towel and 1 washcloth. Only 1 trashcan. Had to use a grocery store bag for bathroom trash. The bed was the worst bed i ever tried to sleep in. Felt like i was sleeping on springs and mattress kept sliding every time I tried to get on the bed.

The second we pulled into the teeny tiny garage we just knew this place would be awful - the entire building was dirty and when we walked into our room it was absolute filth. No amount of cleaning our room would have made us comfortable staying here. For the price I would have expected a much better experience. We checked out within an hour of checking in - the staff offered to reclean or move us to another room but from the state of the room we were in we were sure another room would be no better. Spend $25-50 more to go somewhere much much cleaner!

I booked 2 rooms for my daughter’s cheer competition. My other half of the family arrived early around 2 pm and was told there room was ready. Upon inspecting the room they found rabbit poop in the closet. They opened the sleeper couch and found stray or hay all over it. They went to the front desk and was told that they can send someone to clean the room but that was all. So when we arrived later in the evening with the rest of the family I did not check in to my room. I booked a different room at a different hotel. I am a member of hotels.com and have been for awhile. You can see I booked another hotel in Virginia Beach. We ended staying at Ramada by Wyndham. I would like my money refunded please.

Good stay, great location

Everything was acceptable, nothing fancy - certainly for being the off-season and for the price we got about what we expected which was fine. Can't beat the ocean views and location on the boardwalk. Would be nice to have a curtain over the bedroom window that faces the hallway where the lights are on all night. There is a vinyl shade but it doesn't block the light.
