The staff were really great, the location is excellent, and the meals and drinks very good. My only concern is that the resort is looking and feeling very very very tired. It appears that management/owner has done very little to upgrade and maintain the resort in the last 20 years. For an apparent 4 star resort and the money they charge for accommodation, I think management/owner really needs to step up or sell it to someone who cares about the resort, its staff and customers. Come on management/owner, you can do better or the other better maintained resorts will make your obsolete.

Phenomenal resort. We were stunned by all the free activities included with our stay. They really put a lot of heart and attention into creating truly memorable experiences for the kids. The hermit crabs hunt and races were so much fun. Also, to be able to hop on a kayak or paddleboard and explore anytime was amazing. We will definitely be back.

We had a beach front unit, The siding door wouldn't open and front door locked when it wanted to and had to get that fixed while we were there, to top it off the food wasn't great 😕 we had 2days of rain and tv wasn't great But the fish at the front of the rarotongan beach resort was amazing

The Lagoon is the $M location. Employees in all areas were excellent, friendly and professional. Food at Breakfast Buffet was great with side Chefs offering personalised cooking. Only problem with breakfast was constant broken Coffee Machines, really need to be updated. Rooms were great and excellent team members cleaned daily, professionally with a smile. Only problem we had was only 1 washing machine working for whole resort. Will stay here again and recommend.

We loved our stay here, first time travelling with our 1 year old and we don’t have anything but positive thoughts about our holiday at the rarotongan. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Our housekeeper was awesome. Please never change your smiles and being great people!! Amazing snorkelling, alot of the gear (kayaks etc) have been upgraded recently so everything is new. Kids club great, activities great and lots of space for the little one to explore. If you want a family friendly place to stay defiantly don’t go past the rarotongan.
