We stayed a night during the Easter holiday. Staffs were super nice and helpful. However, the hotel appeared quite understaffed, especially during breakfast. While the entrance sign asked guests to wait to be seated, there was no staff managing seating, so we eventually had to find our own seats after waiting quite some time. Only a handful of staff were struggling to keep up with the demand for food and clean plates for a full house. Despite the pressure, staffs were very professional and welcoming. Regarding the spa, while the view from the pool and sauna was beautiful, the facilities were very frustrating as nearly all lockers were out of order. One guest managed to find a working one, but it didn't open later, so she needed help. We liked the views, but we feel the overall spa experience didn't quite match the price.

This hotel was ok. First impressions were disappointing - I am not a high end luxury type but the hotel looked shabby and basic. A few suggestions for improvement... On arrival I asked about the swimming pool and was told that was extra. I said that I had known the spa was extra but that it had not been clear that the pool was in the spa. Looking back at their info now it does say that clearly but I am not convinced it was like that when I booked or I would not have booked as pool was a priority for me. Equally, listing kettle and coffee making to me suggests two different things so I expected - as in most superior rooms these day - to have a basic coffee maker. Instead there were two sachets of nescafe instant. The safe also did not work so had to get a maitenance person to fix and he also had to fix the door lock. Not the greatest start but also not the end of the world. Overall the hotel was very adequate and basics all fine. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, nice shower, suprisingly quiet given it was on a busy main streeet. Food was pleasant - nothing exciting but perfectly tasty. Only small point, no dessert at dinner. Does not need to be a high end gateau - a piece of fruit or small yoghurt would have been nice. Most positive were the staff who were mostly extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Overall - good basic hotel for a functional stay - less so for more of a relax and unwind experience.

Fantastisk ophold på First Hotel Planetstaden. Ved ankomst blev opgraderet til et bedre værelse uden ekstra betaling - det er service. Alt personale var utrolig serviceminded. Vi betalte for 3 timers spa, og det var alle pengene værd. Morgenmaden utrolig lækker, der manglede intet og bordene blev hele tiden ryddet op, så lokalet så rent og lækkert ud. Fuld valuta for pengene. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

Tyvärr var loungen men spel ganska slitet och det saknades/var sönder vissa spel, biljard, pingis osv. Poolen, vilken vi var där för var tyvärr avstäng när vi hade bokat det så tyvärr blev vistelsen ganska dålig pga av detta. Men rummet, personalen och mat samt frukost var toppen! Väldigt fint.

Det enda att tråkigt nog att klaga på är att låsen till omklädningsskåpen i spaet ännu inte bytts ut som det sades redan för ett år sedan. Duschblandarna i samma spa behöver man vara expert i något dataspel att förstå hur de fungerar för att kunna stänga av , lite instruktion till vredets funktion samt handmunstycket. Skåne uppmanar till att spara på vattnet. Vårt rum hade stort badrum, med både dusch och badkar, intressant var det persiennförsedda panoramafönstret mellan badrum och sovrum. Hotellet ligger en kvarts promenad från centrum med busshållplats några meter från entrén.
