Excellent stay

The staff was great and kind! The condo of three bed room was clean and spacious! My whole family love it! Everyone talk about how good the bed sleeps! Of course the pull out couch wasn’t good! I will be coming back!

No,blankets,sheets and pillows for pull out sofa. Kitchen need basic dishes and utensils. I had to go out and buy a cookie sheet, spatula and pot holders. Bedding in master could be updated and wash machine was horrible loud.

So much for nothing

It wasn’t the room i booked online, room was outdated, tub had stains, sink smelled like mold stuck water, Ac barely blowing, floor had sand, front desk couldn’t help because i booked thru hotels.com which makes no sense cause you still got paid, stay wasn’t free, i felt like i paid so much for nothing. Super dissatisfied

Disappointing Start

I was booked for the Brighton Towers. The first room i was assigned to 402G was very dated and had a horrible musty smell. It also overlooked a parking garage. Not the view advertised on booking sites. When i went back to the front desk to request a new room, staff member did not want to accommodate me. I got off the line to look for another hotel, When i got back online I got another front desk staff member who accommodated my request for a new room immediately. The new room was updated and much nicer with a better view, however very dusty. I let the front desk know. As far as the resort, the pools and grounds are very nice and its very family friendly. If you are looking for a quiet resort, this is not it. There were kids running everywhere. I thought they would be by the splash pad and slides, but they were in the larger pool with water guns, balls and jumping in and out, so keep that in mind. The breakfast at Embassy Suites is not worth $24.99, that was disappointing. We did enjoy the food at Black drum. Overall its a nice place but the start of the trip with check in and that old musty room 402G in The Brighton tower left a bad taste. Also the fact that the staff member told me there was no availability on the opposite side facing the water park, which was a lie was disturbing. We lost a hour of our trip, trying to find a new hotel last minute, Only to be accommodated immediately with another staff memeber. I don't think i would go back.

Nope!

One step above horrible unless you're a family with a bunch of kids. Children everywhere - throwing balls etc in the pool and the hot tub. We were not expecting a Days Inn all childrens location sort of atmosphere. Also - did not know it was housekeeping by request. Worthless 3 nights and expensive.

we were accident in our own vehicle on the property. Someone backed into our passenger side door and took off. They did not bother to give us a cup of coffee or a cold drink or compensate us a room for the night when we told them that we had to stay in Myrtle Beach for an extra day said that it was not their fault for the accident and they would not be liable. We had to sit on the property for several hours waiting for a tow truck and police to finish their paperwork and all the time we have to stay outside. We had to go track down people and get names and numbers when it should have been offered to us To say that we are disappointed is an understatement The property is not handicap, friendly it is quite a bit of walking

Mediocre @ Best.

Prior to checkin , I was given an amount to “pay at property “..upon my arrival , that amount more than DOUBLED. Many of the fees not mentioned when booking. Room was not what I expected considering the price I paid. Furniture very outdated. On the plus side, it was a short walk to the beach and my grandsons really njoyd the water park.

Semi happy customers

The property was amazing all the amenities and actual owners of the homes are great however the guest who stayed above us made our night terrible stomped ran and pounded all hours of the night into morning none of my family got to enjoy the suite my kids were crying because they were so tired and all we got was 40 off our total costs of over 500 not happy nor impressed on that note but the home and property beautiful just wish we were able to enjoy it all.

I felt scammed and scared

I arrived around 12:30, I wasn’t expecting to check in, but went to the front desk to get the parking pass, but they said I could check in early for $75. I didn’t want to spend more money, so she said to come back at 3….I arrived at 3:40 and they said the room wasn’t ready. I stood in line until 4 to check in & still said I couldn’t check in, when clearly my reservation stats check in is at 4. When I stated that is the time I paid for and I would like a discount, miraculously, they found a room. I just think it was ironic that for $75 or requesting a discount they immediately found a room available. Also, I was hit up for a timeshare. That night, someone entered our room at 5am turned on the light & after I jumped out of bed screaming, turned off the light and left. I am not sure if they came in from the front door or the adjoining room. There is no additional lock from the room…I am not sure how they pushed the door open, but it was super scary. I blocked the door with the table after that incident. Our friends purchased the umbrella and chairs from the beach and they placed the umbrella so low that it was hard to get under, not to mention, everyone was on top of each other!

Not as advertised for the price

Disappointing Stay – Not As Advertised I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like this one was necessary. If you’re considering staying here, I’d strongly suggest you think twice. The South Hampton looks great from the outside, but don’t let the appearance fool you. Inside, it’s outdated and nowhere near what the pictures online show. For the price, it’s definitely not worth it. What really pushed me to write this review was the poor customer service. I had an issue with my reservation, and the lady I spoke to on the phone blamed me for booking through Hotels.com — seriously? That’s not how you treat a guest. Overall, it felt more like a cash grab than a welcoming place to stay. I won’t be coming back.
