It was really convenient to text questions, and they were always met with prompt, helpful replies. One morning our coffee machine stopped working. We sent a text asking for a replacement and Cristina was at our door within a half hour with another machine and more coffee, since she thought we may have run out trying to get the machine to work. Excellent service! The property had many family friendly activities. Also the kitchenette was perfect for breakfasts and storing snacks. One thing we didn’t like - the property pushes customers to listen to timeshare pitches. We declined but had a few requests for us to join. Glad we didn’t have to attend.

Our Stay Was Nice

The room was nice and well maintained with a very nice kitchenette. We enjoyed the feeling of hominess and quiet most of the time we were in our room. I would have given this location an excellent rating except for the below items. 1. We saw a few carpenter ants roaming on the floor. They didnt bother us and would hide under the couch or behind the fridge within a few seconds of us spotting them. 2. There is a connecting door to the other room next to our room were other guests were staying. The door did not have any noise dampening material and we could here our neighbors talking periodically and could make out there conversations like they were in our room. Thanfully they were not in their room most of the time when we were in our room and they went to bed early so we were not bothered much by this. 3. We could not find an elevator and assume there wasn't one or it was not nearby. We had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs where our room was located. Everything else was very nice and we may stay at this location again. Loved the pool.

Great place for families

I have stayed here several times with my family. It’s a beautiful property with lots of family activities. My kids and adults to love the free arcade and the beautiful pools.

Lovely Property

Book a two bedroom suite for a friends getaway. Property is lovely, but know you will get a timeshare spiel. Pool areas are great, game rooms are fun. Suite itself was fabulous but the beds and furniture are very firm. Laundry and full kitchen are such a nice bonus.

While the grounds are really nice, the unit we stayed in was old and outdated. Creaky floors, AC unit not efficient, cracked tiles, clogged sink and it took 5-6+ min to get hot water in the shower. Great pool and amenities. We loved the putt putt course and pickle ball. Great little pool bar too.

Loved the resort, Hated the vacation property sell

I loved everything about our stay at the Kingsgate EXCEPT the Wyndham Resort presentation hard sell. I can usually make it through these vacation property presentations with no problem but this one was aggressive and off putting. I felt offended and antagonized by Ray Pitts, our “guide” and the whole experience wasn’t worth the free gift at all. I know the Kingsgate is obligated to shunt as many guests as possible through the presentation mill, so I don’t hold it against them and still gave the review mainly 5 stars because the resort was great, they accommodated every special request I had, including early check-in. The suite was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t get to use any of the on-site amenities, but I loved the options for families. I would definitely stay again, and thankfully won’t have to go through another presentation.

Not good experience and had to leave

First room assigned and door was open ajar and had evidence of bathroom construction work when out of building door was uneven and tripped causing pain and bedrest the next few days leaving checking out to go home early Saturday morning. Also a lizard was in unit which caused fear

Mothers Day Trip

We went for Mother's Day weekend on a whim. The condo was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed except ice. The bathroom was a good size with prompt hot water and had a strong pressure. The facility had a large pool as well as an adult pool. There was a snack bar and also a bar at the pool. The hot tub stayed packed so unfortunately we couldn't use that. They also had an indoor pool and an arcade area for kids. Overall great experience and safe with a guard house. Good value but we did attend a 90 minute sales presentation which turned into 3 hours.

A wonderful place to stay for a family

Our family of 5 loved this place! It had something for each of us to enjoy - pool, bar and restaurant, movie theater, mini golf, an arcade, outdoor games. The suite we were in was spacious with everything we could need, and it was reasonably priced, which attracted me to it. We shortened an amusement park day so we could enjoy all the activities for an evening at the hotel.

It's a solid property. The best point is the rooms. They are well-designed and well-equipped. The pools and game rooms are also decent. The weakest point is the check-in. It is kept slow by design so that timeshare reps have extra time to try to sell the timeshares. That's no fun.

Great place

This was our 2nd trip there and its a great place. All the extras of the restaurant/bar insite and game room is great! They have gas grills also. I think they have mibi golf but we didn't tey that out.
