After spending one night at Green Valley Ranch and seeing how beautiful the spa pool was, I decided to return for a couple of nights for some much-needed rest and relaxation. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.
I arrived late at night and found a note in my room saying the water would be shut off—something I wish had been mentioned at check-in. The next morning, I learned the spa pool was only available to those with spa appointments. I tried to book one, but was told the spa was closed for a private event. I then asked about buying a day pass just to use the pool, but was told that wasn’t allowed either due to a private photoshoot event.
Trying to make the best of it, I went to the adult pool, where I was told I could only sit at the bar unless I paid $35 for a lounge chair. Frustrated, I went to the family pool, which was nice—until they cranked the music up so loudI couldn’t hear myself think.
If you want a decent off-strip hotel with a lively family pool, this might work. But for a peaceful, spa-like escape, look elsewhere
