Had a good stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee and juice 24/7 was a plus. Liked the convenience of poolside room. Wish pool was heated or there was a hot tub and would have been perfect. Across street from beach not right on beach fyi.

Terrible Experience!

While we were checking in, part of the vinyl siding fell on our car! We were put in a room that smelled like wet dogs. We had not asked for a pet friendly room. The shower tiles had mildew all around them, and the tub was leaking. Our AC had an irritating knocking noise intermittently all night. As soon as we were about to go to sleep, the knocking would wake us up. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but I booked a new place at 4:00am for the 2nd night. After all I was wide awake! I would suggest that you not stay here! The pictures on their website are misleading! It looks nothing like the pictures! Needless to say we were very disappointed!

Easy check-in, friendly staff, room was clean, bed comfortable. My only downside was being in a ground floor room facing the parking lot, so I kept curtains drawn for privacy, which kept the room very dark all the time. On the upside, the curtains were excellent blackout for sleeping!

WORST hotel experience EVER-Staff issues

I booked a Friday night. I later added Thursday night. The Wed. before our trip I called Travelodge-spoke to a female, asked her if she could combine the bookings...I thought I might have booked 2 different rooms. If NOT, totally fine, it was my doing. She said she could do it-we were all set to be in the same room both nights. We arrived Thursday and "A" checked us in...he didn't see where the bookings were combined. So again-I asked if he could do it. He said YES and we could just stay all of Friday, not check out and back in, etc. Friday morning we were ready to walk to the beach-it's a hike. I stopped by the front desk to again to verify the stay. "G"-a female worker at the front desk said, you are only booked for 1 night and then in a different room for tonight. I told her about the call and Abel...2 workers fixing it for us. She rudely looked at me like I was crazy and her answer was "what do you want me to do?" Oh and why are you mad at me?-"well I didn't do this." I did tell her that her customer service skills were horrible. She didn't once say sorry or ask what she could do to help the situation, she didn't offer to call a manager. We packed up, turned in the cards and walked away. She yelled out for me asking if I was checking out-the exact thing she said we had to do and return at 4 to check into another room. We went back and forth and I finally walked away. We did NOT return although we paid for the night. The staff here has major communication issues.

WORST Customer Service

Misleading Descriptions

There was an issue with my deposit. I thought I paid a deposit but apparently the hotel does not do deposits. They said they were trying to get that fixed with hotels.com. It is not directly on the beach. You do have to walk across the street and if you have items such as a cooler and chairs, etc. you will need to park in the empty parking lot across the street. No golf course and no breakfast which a lot of guests complained about. Only coffee and juice. Room was okay. Bathroom is very small with little ventilation. Hotel needs to be updated badly. This is a last time for me and my family.

Clean, comfortable room. No breakfast. Good location with beach access. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

Disgusting

I always bring my own sheets and pillows and thankful I didn’t because I put the bedspread in the floor and when I went to pull it back up on the bed when leaving there was blood on the bedspread. Not acceptable!!
