Fantastic staff

The staff were fantastic, some of the best cusotmer service I have ever received. Nothing was too much from sorting an early check in as we'd been hiking for 6 days to sorting storage during our hike. Our room, the Spa and breakfast were all excellent. A fabulous stay and when I'm in Innsbruck again this will be where I stay. thank you all for such a great stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we were very pleased with the convience to skiing. The hotel was great with many breakfast options. The pool and hot tub were also nice after a day of skiing. The hotel staff was very friendly and we loved the cozy room. We will definitely be back!

This is a great hotel with friendly staff. Really accessible for old town and the shopping area. The breakfast is lovely and the pool area is a lively bonus. Great weekend. Also the bar has a great live band on Friday night.

Great Stay in Innsbruck

The perfectly situated hotel to explore the city center of Innsbruck! Everything is steps outside the hotel door. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was the most helpful we encountered in all of Europe. The breakfast is excellent and the rooftop pool was an amazing bonus. Highly recommend!

The rooms were clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was very good. I had booked 3 rooms months ago, & one of our friend's received an upgrade to a spacious suite. After enjoying biking in Innsbruck, the 6 in our group went to the rooftop hot tub at 4PM. Sadly, they don't fill it or turn on the steam rooms until 5PM! How disappointing.

First thing that we found out was lack of free parking, we had to use the city garage parking which was quite expensive. Then the rooms were very basic, for this price we expected something better. Bathroom situation was strange, sink by the door, separate from the bathroom. Jacuzzi, pool etc were very nice with a great view. Although there were not many towels for the amount of guests using the amenities. Breakfast was very nice with a great touch with Prosecco. Overall we had a good experience but had higher expectations for this price.

Not what we were led to expect.

No aircon in the room which made the room uncomfortably warm even with outside temperatures being cool. Beds were uncomfortable and not a ‘double’ bed which wee booked. It was x2 single beds pushed together which came apart when sleeping. Pillows were very flat, small and uncomfortable. Staff were mostly polite but on more than one occasion completely ignored us when we approached the front counter and seemed more interested in playing with their phone. The breakfast was tasty and the leisure facilities were good.

Hotel looks and is a nice building but sadly the stay was not good. My room overlooked a nightclub (Twenty) and between midnight and 0215 I could not sleep for the noise of large groups of people congregating, talking, shouting, gathering outside just outside my window You could hear it loudly anyway with windows and curtains closed. But to make it worse, the hotel is overheated and to save money they turn off the air con in winter. So if you want anything like a tolérable temperature you have to open the window which makes for intolerable noise . You can’t turn the heating off or cool the room. I asked to move rooms but it wasn’t possible. I learned that the hotel knows this is a problem - when I complained in the middle of the night about the noise it was clear I wasn’t the first to do so

Walkable , wonderful views, highly recommend

Things we loved about Grauer Bar: location, location, location. In the heart of Innsbruck, walkable to many restaurants and activities, view of the mountains from our balcony was breathtaking, breakfast was one of the best we have had in all of Europe, so many choices (including smoked salmon), beautiful washrooms, rooftop pool was beautiful. Things we did NOT love so much: Support received from front desk was hit or miss on helpfulness scale. One receptionist did not explain parking (or anything else for that matter) very well, resulting in extra expenses. Her co-worker, when asked for clarification, explained everything very concisely which would have saved us time, money and frustration. She was extremely helpful and did not make us feel like an imposition. The hot tub was lukewarn but we know there are reasons for the that and the ambience more than made up for it. We would stay here again, now that we know where to park our car because the location and breakfast more than made up for any inconvenience and we highly recommend staying here. I recommend that you provide a map or printed directions for people who are paying for parking.
