We had a very nice getaway here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great view of the ocean and nightly bonfire from our patio. We had a short walk to the shore. The dinners in room and at the restaurant we both super delicious. If you like spicy I recommend the crudo. They have golf cart rides from the car to your room. Once your bags are dropped off, walking around resort is no problem. My wife thinks we’re making this a yearly stay

I have stayed there 3 times. It’s a very nice place. Safe great spot and fire pit is perfect way to end the night. They have updated the rooms and it’s even better

Sanctuary is one of my favorite resorts, not just b/c of the beauty of the hotel and the uniqueness of lodging on the beach, but because Guest Services is 10/10! From check-in, room service, the Salt Wood restaurant, to special requests, the staff is outstanding and provides an amazing experience.

Family oriented hotel. Catered to families with kids. Great views and friendly staff. Everything was clean. I suggest staying on an upper floor as you will hear every footstep from the exterior to the inside of the rooms.

Beautiful property and landscape and good food. A few challenges were (1) the weather being too chilly and windy to enjoy the beach and bonfires, but obviously not under our control and that’s what’s expected in norcal, (2) no air conditioning in the room we were in so we had to switch multiple times between opening the windows and balcony doors, getting very chilly, and turning on the fireplace, getting really hot and stuffy., (3) the spa service was nice but it was loud for a spa. You could hear the next door neighbors and the massage tables for some reason shook during the session. But overall, it was a very relaxing experience. And I would go back again just to enjoy the peace and quiet and the views.

Lovely, tranquil hotel in a great location!

Such a tranquil well appointed hotel with fantastic views of the sunset over the water. We loved that they lit up several fire pits at Sunset every night. Such a treat! We definitely plan to return.
