No coffee

Checkin took for ever and the guy was the least friendly most arrogant person I have met in a long time. This place is a total dump and the staff is terrible. They had no coffee in the breakfast room while I was there because someone broke the coffee machine. No apology for the lack of coffee in the morning just obnoxious staff. The breakfast is awful.

No Sunday Breakfast ??

Not sure what was going on Sunday morning when I left, but went down stair for the free breakfast a 6:30 and nothing was ready. checked again a 7am and still nothing. Got to late and just checked out and hit the road.

Nice little hotel

This is a great little hotel for those who just need a place to sleep. Is older but clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, the staff is nice. Breakfast is ok, I usually don’t have breakfast at the hotel but they have waffles, yogurt, etc. I would definitely return to this hotel.

We came up for an overnight to go to ski cooper. The price was great, room was clean, older hotel. Bed was kinda old but fine I guess for the price. The continental breakfast needed some more things. We loved the Wi-Fi and the cable worked really well, so many channels! Super close to town and the heat worked well.

Not recommended.

It took over 30 minutes to check in. The hotel staff was on the phone with a customer and kept arguing because he didn’t want to send the customer a confirmation email. Then the door key was not working. The hotel staff couldn’t get it to work, so they let us in with a manual master key. We never got a working key. The room was noisy, we could hear the upstairs tv blasting all night. The bed was awful, we were both in pain from sleeping on it, and it was a full size bed not a queen size bed. The pillows were pathetic. The sheets were itchy. The shower was dirty, I ended up wiping it down before I used it. Half the building was boarded up and looked like it had a fire years ago. We both couldn’t sleep, we checked in at 8pm and left at 4am because we couldn’t sleep from being so uncomfortable. It was $126 a night… something this bad shouldn’t be more than $35 a night.

Nice stay in Leadville

Great stay while skiing at Ski Cooper. Yes the property is dated but the beds were comfy and hotel was very clean. All we needed after day of skiing. We’ll stay here next time we come to CO to ski!

Do Not Stay Here!

The price was ABSURD AND DISGUSTING for the condition of the hotel. The staff were nice, however the hotel is foul. It smelled, the carpets were discolored and incredibly old and dirty; there were hairs in the sheets and the bathroom sink. My tv did not work and I needed 30 minutes of help from the front desk , requiring a new cable, so it eventually worked. There was a female guest screaming in the parking lot about killing her boyfriend and wishing he were dead; I listened to her from my third story room for about 45 minutes. I cannot believe how much money I spent to stay in such a dirty and poorly maintained hotel. I would never recommend anyone to stay there.

Room 105 heater

The room 105 hearer turns on-off every 5 minutes. And it’s incredibly loud. I understand limiting the volume in the tv, but we had trouble hearing it. Not the end of the world, but sleeping was a major problem

Very poor service & no TV

We were VERY disappointed in our stay. We were skiing at SkiCooper and decided to stay overnight so we could watch the USA vs Canada hockey game championship and the TV didn't work!!! I contacted the front desk multiple times and was told that the gentleman would be up to replace our cable box but he never came. It was such a frustrating night. Then, the heater would not keep a consistent temperature so we were constantly adjusting from too cold to too hot. The breakfast was VERY poor - the oatmeal was expired and the juice was out. There wasn't really any other choices other than some cold cereal. Disappointing trip. I requested a refund at the front desk as he was unable to solve our issues but no one was there when we checked out in the morning.

Affordable/good value

I've stayed the Leadville Rodeway Inn many times over the years. It's conveniently located only a couple minutes the downtown area & restaurants. It's very affordable & good value for what I was looking for. I also appreciate the free breakfast & ample free parking. Thank you.

Affordable and suited my needs. Clean but kinda odd that housekeeping left an envelope asking for a tip considering they dont provide housekeeping thru the stay. Walls are also thin so you hear when people move about.
