I asked if I was able to check in two hours early and the clerk said yes. She gave me the room keys, told me where to park, and how to get to the room. I got to the room and it was not clean, beds torn apart. When I asked her about it, she said I showed up early and she didn’t charge me for it. I told her she should have told me it wasn’t ready yet and not given me the keys. She offered to have it cleaned really fast and I said no, I do not want you skimping on the cleaning, so asked for a discount, and she said no, because I tried to check in early. She clearly didn’t understand she could have told me it wasn’t ready yet but instead put the blame on me. For a Super 8, it was overpriced already and 4pm is a late check in to get ready for an event you may be going to. There’s no reason a whole floor of rooms were still not cleaned at 2pm. Needs improvement on customer service.

Nice, aging but well kept hotel in the middle of rural Kansas. Room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The carpets on the stairway and some in the hall were full of crumbs and lint….? Continental breakfast was very basic but adequate if you don’t have dairy or wheat issues. The staff was kind and responsive. The refrigerator was at least twice as large as usual in this price range, very roomy!

Great hotel at a reasonable price

The owner of this Super8 has really done a great job with this hotel. The lobby area is clean and inviting. The breakfast is good. The entire place is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Loved the bed and the pillows
