Couldn’t find reservation
I booked this hotel weeks in advance. I arrived at the hotel around 8pm because I was traveling for a cruise and wanted to go down a couple of days before boarding the cruise to do some things in Galveston. Upon arriving the front desk lady advised me that they didn’t have a reservation for me. She stated that they just opened up a new location that they just renovated so my reservation is probably at the new location even though the address showed the one I was at. She advised me to drive a couple miles down the road to the new location. I got to the new location and they didn’t have my reservation either and said that it’s at the other one because the address shows the other one. The man at the front desk called the other location and advised her it was there because of the address. She said no. I called Hotels.com on the phone while driving back to the original hotel location. I got hotels.com customer service rep on the phone and she asked to speak to the front desk. They advised that I do have a reservation and we provided the reservation number. The front desk worker still stated it wasn’t there. Hotels.com put in for a refund and I had to pay again in person to get a room. It wasn’t a great experience due to me driving 9 hours and driving back and forth from location to location and I just wanted to lay down because I had been driving for so long. Will not ever book this hotel again. Not to mention the construction road work that was being done around the hotel. Ugh
