What an absolute gem of a place! From the moment we arrived, the welcome couldn’t have been warmer — genuinely friendly, attentive, and instantly made us feel at home.
Our room was incredibly homely and prepared immaculately. Every detail had clearly been thought through, and it was spotless, cosy, and wonderfully comfortable — the perfect place to relax after an evening downstairs.
The food was truly outstanding. The sausages and mash were some of the best I’ve ever had — rich, comforting, and full of flavour — and the lamb was cooked to perfection. The chocolate brownie was quite simply to die for! The bar also boasts a fantastic selection of drinks, with something to suit every taste.
Breakfast the next morning was equally delicious and set us up perfectly for the day ahead.
Service throughout our stay was five-star from start to finish — attentive without being intrusive, professional yet personal. We couldn’t have asked for more and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended!
