We went to Peoria for a tournament.
The Good - Hotel is close to Civic center, the young guy at the front desk was doing above and beyond what he was able to do, pretty low cost for a hotel, had a fridge and microwave.
The Bad-The cleanliness in this hotes was absolutely disgusting. The bed sheets and pillow cases had yellow stains on them. The wall next to the bed was so dirty it looked like a cafeteria table after lunch. Sticky smear marks over the whole wall. There were dust strands hanging from the popcorn ceiling like acorns, and I don't think the hotel floor was ever vacuumed, the layer of dust, random hair and nails that were spread out was disgusting. It was so gross I didn't even want to eat the half stocked continental breakfast there bc I was worried the I would get sick from the food. I am fair when it comes to grading hotels and I understand stuff gets old, wear & tear. Cleanliness can be controlled and is directly in the hands of the owner. A hotel can have miles on it and still be clean. This is absolutely not the one.
