We are non-smokers. So when our room was suddenly inundated with stench, our eyes and throats were burning. We should have requested a change of room, but it was very late. We could also smell whatever our “neighbors” were cooking. YUK. We will not be staying at Staybridge again. Our room was clean, but had significant wear and tear. Needs an upgrade. For such a beautiful facade, it’s unfortunate when repairs aren’t made with care. The shower head needs changed. The tub had rust stains on it. Nothing major, but sure wish maintenance cared more.

My room heater fan would not shut off. I had to ask maintenance to come fix it. My built in microwave didn't work so they had a counter top microwave in the kitchen. There was silverware but no frying pans to cook with. I had to buy my own frying pan and was going to tale it with me when I left and I forgot to take it.

The check in staff was rude. I had to wait a week to get my deposit back. My family got together rented 3 rooms so we could hang out together and utilize their pool. Front desk clerk started saying well we can’t have you coming and going. She acted like we were a burden for her property for a weekend stay. What a waste we were on edge worried about making a mistake and getting our deposits taken even though the furniture is stained closet doors broken and a dirty cloudy pool. What a horrible experience. Shame on the lady that checked us in and shame on the management.

The room was spacious! Shower was great!! Breakfast was amazing! If I had to offer improvements it would be to update the coffee pot in the room… it worked but it was old and missing the top to the carafe. Also the closet was missing a door. The tv didn’t have any channel information in the guide nor in the room. So we shut it off! The indoor pool was clean and warm!! And every staff member we encountered was cheerful and friendly!

Robert was at the front desk when we checked in. We were very impressed with his helpful, friendly, and kind personality. He was very observant, and answered all our questions. He made us feel very comfortable right off the bat. First impressions can make a lifelong relationship with the consumer and the business. He did that very well, deserves recognition for his quality customer service. The bed was comfortable. The room was very cozy. It was spacious. The sound in the room did not carry out to the point that the next room could hear my TV, my music, or my conversation. That's huge! Thank you for that. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, a full size refrigerator. All the things that could help the consumer save money while out of town or on vacation. Most of the population in the United States is struggling financially and this is another plus to staying at Staybridge suites by IHG. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature that I actually stayed in the pool for almost an hour. This makes it more enjoyable for an adult who may not be comfortable using the pool due to physical ailments (ex. arthritis). The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful.

Searing needs more 2 tops and less couches for breakfast. Room was not vacuumed well and the cloth that taps the box spring was hanging. Staff for breakfast did not understand English??? Soap by sink was empty In general you can see corners and certain areas of the hotel need cleaning. For the money I probably will not stay here again until some improvements are made.
