A nightmare hotel

The hotel was a nightmare! We walked into the room and it was filthy and moldy and the bathroom had paint peeling! Just outside our door there was a group of young people smoking pot and the door lock was busted! We did not feel safe so we immediately went back to the front desk and told them we could not stay here, The front desk man, . Mike offered another room but it was not safe! We only chose it because it said Wyndham Travelodge. False advertisement since there was a plastic banner up with Travelodge on it and the real name was Sunrise Inn!

DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS

This hotel should be condemned. The conditions of the rooms are horrible. People and chipped ceiling pain. Bugs, no room service, unable to get clean linens and towels. HORRIBLE!!!!!

Definition of “Roach Coach”

The room was absolutely disgusting. It was INFESTED with cockroaches. There’s no way they should still be in business. The town really needs to have the board of health involved.

Safety hazard

There were many safety issues to which I will notify the state of Maryland about. No smoke detector, deadbolt on the door didn't work properly, only hot water in the shower, no telephone hooked up. And then there was a list of other things that I previously mentioned that were inconveniences

We checked in, and got a room. The bathtub was broken (holes on the side of bathtub). Holes on the floor in front of the bathroom (dangerous). Moved to adjacent room, but we had to help move the table and chair from the previous room. The AC was too noisy. Difficult to get a good sleep. We left snacks/food on the table and it was eaten by a small rat (we saw it sneaking). No TV remote. The cabinet had non functional drawers.

Extremely nasty room.

The hotel room was extremely dirty with cockroach droppings everywhere. The bathroom was moldy and the carpet was extremely dirty. The bed had hairs and the sheets were wrinkled. I was offered another room that was not much better. So I had to make another reservation for a nearby hotel. I asked for a refund and i was told I would get it. It's been 3 days since I checked in and I haven't received the refund.

You get what you pay for. There were a lot of holes in the unit I stayed in, on the walls, a lot of loose appliances; it's fine if you just want a quick place to sleep, but I would not recommend a longer stay than that.

We went in the first room and soon as we turned the lights on roaches were everywhere, then the second and third was a little better but still dirty. I don't recommend this place to no one please stay away. It needs to be shut down by code enforcement.

There were bed bugs and/or rodent feces in the sheets, as well as numerous stains. For two people for two nights, we were provided only one towel and an extremely stained floor mat. The wall had an open/broken access panel to the pipes and the exposed insulation had water damage. The refrigerator was unplugged when we came in and had black mold and a weird smell inside it. The exterior was decently maintained. The two hoteliers were firm, but professional and warm enough. Most of the people staying there seemed to be long-term stays. The mattress was surprisingly firm and comfortable, but everything was very dirty and I couldn't help but worry about bedbugs. I only sat on it for about 20 minutes before we decided to leave. No refunds, but it was worth it for the peace of mind to sleep elsewhere.
