Clean and comfortable

Very clean and nice hotel. Comfortable beds, a/c worked great. They didn't have extra pillows or blankets but we made due. They have a pool but we didn't use it. Breakfast was nice, waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs and more.

Bugs crawling in the bathroom, people slamming their room doors throughout the night, it was horrible. I was charged ten dollars for one hour check in fee. I have stayed here many times before, but this was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had at this hotel. I would not recommend and I won’t be staying there ever again!

The employees were extremely polite and helpful. The hotel was nice, but if you’re on a lower floor the elevators will likely be full before getting to you. They will hold luggage after 10am in case you get arrive before check in or fly out after check out. The location puts everything in easy walking distance. The room itself was nice, but very crammed. The walkway only allowed one person to move at a time, so be wary if you have more than 2 in a room. The blankets did have a few stains and one was partially torn. The a/c was finicky, as we would set it low and it would go back to 72 by morning. The system wouldn’t allow use to keep the fan on, so we had to keep turning it back on. Being able to open the window was a lifesaver, but didn’t lower the temperature by much. Overall a great place to stay and be near all the action.

Just Okay

The hotel appeared clean, the front desk employees never greeted me, when we walked into our room, there was a cockroach that was on the back of the door, and very much alive. I killed it. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the bathroom floor appeared to have water damage. The room looked clean though, and the refrigerator worked great. My daughter had a volleyball tournament at the convention center, and as an athlete, she needs good sleep, but she had a really hard time sleeping on the bed because it was so hard and uncomfortable. We travel a lot for volleyball, and this was definitely one of the worst stays we had as far as comfort and just overall experiences.

Great Hotel

We will definitely be back! I was really skeptical when I saw how cheap the rooms were, but based on previous reviews, I rolled the dice and stayed any way. We were not disappointed. A lot of breakfast options, rooms were clean, and everyone was friendly. We will book here again!

Competition weekend stay.

Room was clean with average amenities. It needed some maintenance with not working lights and dripping tub. The room was dark and beds very hard. Okay for an overnight stay for competition weekend with convenient location.

Why I didn’t give it 5 *

It was nice but you can hear EVERYTHING. We heard everything our neighbors were arguing about and their babies screaming and crying while they were yelling at each other. We got no sleep but it was crowded due to the cheer competition going on. Other then that everyone that worked there was super nice and it was clean.

I liked that it was walking distance to several restaurants. I liked that there wasn't carpet in the room. I didn’t like that when I raised the air/heating unit lid to turn on, it was very nasty. The room had a unpleasant smell after the unit ran. The bathroom had the shower rod replaced several times without fixing the holes in the wall. Poor maintenance. It's simple fix things that usually make a place look bad!

My stay

We have all stayed in rooms that only had one or two outlets. Always in places inconvenient. My room had nine. Four near the head of the bed. Three around the desk and two more around the bed. I was near the end of the hall but my laptop still showed 97% for the wireless. The room was very clean and the bathroom had more than enough towels and washcloths for my stay. The water got hot very quickly and the water pressure was unexpectedly high. Breakfast was the standard fare for the area. Biscuits and gravy,scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, and cold cereal. The 24 hour a day coffee was a nice touch. Even though it is right on the parkway, the room as very quiet. It was a very pleasent stay and I would stay there again.

Staff didn't seem to care about being there. Half of the breakfast wasn't labeled. Couldn't find the milk for my kids cereal. Locks on the door where loose. Pieces of the furniture were coming apart. Floors were nasty.

Wouldn't recommend this place.

When we got in to our first room everything was ok until me and my husband wanted to go take a shower so we could get ready for bed and the shower was messed up and wouldn't work and the water wouldn't drain. So my husband went down to the front desk and they gave us another room and we checked the shower and everything worked so we was ok until we both got done with our showers and was getting ready to lay down and go to sleep and thats when we found a cockroach in the bed so we took a picture of it and we packed up and went down and showed ghem the picture and said we would like a refund. So my husband drove a little ways down the road and we got us another hotle. All I can say you can do as much research and read the reviews and hope for the best but this time it wasnt a good experience for my husband and I.
