The staff were amazing. The clerk who checked us in was worth the stay. I will come back just to chat with her. She was polite and professional while making me feel like family almost instantly. The room was extremely clean as was the lobby and breakfast room. It is an older hotel so the rooms are not sound proof. We could hear a bit of noise from the neighbors above and beside us. The bathroom is small, but for my husband and I it was fine. If you are a larger person it may be difficult to manage. All things considered it is a good place to stay.

Our room wasn't ready at check in. We had somewhere to be and couldn't wait so we just decided to unload our luggage after we got back. When we got back later that night, it seemed the room had just been wiped down and not actually cleaned. Sheets had hair on them and because I always check the mattress, I pulled the fitted sheet back to find bugs. We immediately told the front desk clerk who was extremely kind.We received a refund on our room and just decided to drive 3 hours back home instead of trying to find somewhere else to stay. I will say, the man at the front desk seemed very overwhelmed but he was so nice and friendly.
