I wouldn't recommend this hotel

Even though this was a none smoking room, it was quite obvious that smoking occurred in this room. The smell was terrible, to the point we vacated the room at 3:30 in the morning because we couldn't take the smell anymore. Also, the shower was filthy and there was mold on the shower curtain. Showering was not an option!

Perfect for one night stay. Room (204) was cleaner than what I expected. No funky smells as one might expect. Cobweb on ceiling in one corner of the room. Shower was small. Second floor hallway reeked of weed.

The only complaint I have is , we booked a 2 night stay and we never received clean towels for the second ! I would have thought house keeping would have at least picked up the dirty linen !

Economy Lodge had its quirks: screeching doors, sparks from lamps. Staff was friendly, but attention to details was lacking. Tech perks like zippy Wi-Fi and extra TV channels were pleasant surprises. Motel is in dire need of updating. It seems like they are trying, but motel as a whole is dingy and run down. Doesn't matter if you pick smoking or non-smoking as the entire motel smells of cigarette smoke. It is very overpowering. It does look as if they are trying to update certain aspects of it, but you get what you pay for. Front desk clerk very friendly.

disappointing

When I checked in, I had to switch rooms due to a leaking refrig. that was not working... water on floor. second room was better. It at least had carpet. soap that was provided was the size of a cheezit. But the room was clean. It was ok for one night. Tiny bed pillows. The people were friendly just wasn't taken care of well.. smelly hallways, dirty carpet, etc. Probably would not stay again..

Clean & affordable

Arrived after midnight, woke up the manager (sorry)... she was friendly to us, anyway! Quick, easy transaction. Room is very basic. When you want to get a room for little cost, don't expect Taj Mahal. The smell of cigarettes or pot fills the hallway and ends up in our "no smoking" room. The same thing happens in other inns, so nothing new. I do wonder why anyone asks the question, "smoking or non", as it never seems to improve my experience. Slept OK. Hope I don't smell of smoke to others all day. All in all, I factor cost savings highly, so I am satisfied with this accommodation.

Staff were unprofessional, rude, and not helpful at all. I never even got checked in due to her demanding a 50 deposit for damages *claiming all motels do that when i was just at super8 and they did not* she then told me my minor children were not aloud there.
