The Crown plaza is in a beautiful tree’d setting. Registration was quick. Mikayla was professional and friendly. Room was clean and I loved the decor. The big windows opened to the greenery outside. The hotel was very busy yet my room was quiet as if no one else was on the floor. I had a restful sleep. Checkout was quick. Jennifer asked if there was anything to improve upon. I told her no, it couldn’t have been better. Well other than I would have loved staying an extra night or two. I would definitely stay again. Highly recommend as a female solo traveler. PS I appreciate needing to use room key to access elevator.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel itself was well-maintained. Most aspects of my experience were positive. However, I was disappointed with my experience at the bar. I noticed a $15 drink on my bill that I never ordered. When I brought it to the bartender's attention, she apologized and removed the charge, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the service afterward was not satisfactory. The first cocktail I ordered was excellent, but the second one was poorly made and almost undrinkable. After only a few sips, I decided to leave it. When I expressed my concern, the bartender seemed indifferent and made no effort to address the issue or ensure I was satisfied. While I enjoyed my overall stay, I hope the hotel can improve the quality of service and customer care at the bar.

The hotel is older and definitely needs some updating. We had a couple of minor issues with our room, but both were handled very promptly and graciously by the staff. We especially appreciated the help we received from Jennifer (front desk) and Chris (engineer). We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and both the food and the service were excellent. The hotel was located in a quiet area and also had several other amenities that we didn't get a chance to enjoy this time (large fitness room, indoor pool, etc )

Very nice stay. I was able to get a great price on the room, via a Hotels.com discount. But the room, the grounds, everything, far exceeded my expectations. The only bad part is that I was too exhausted to enjoy most of it. I checked in early and went to sleep until about 9 pm. There are lots of places to eat near the hotel, so I was able to run and grab something and get back in about 10 minutes. Then I went back to sleep and slept through breakfast! That sad part is that the only thing I remember about the place was the beautiful lake view, the oversized lobby, the bar on the 2nd floor, and the bed and the shower. I was so tired it was a chore just to get around to enjoying the comfort of the place. The staff was very nice. From the receptionist, (I hope I'm right about this...I think her name was Jennifer.) who was beyond polite and helpful, and put up with my incessant sleepy rambling when I checked in, to the cleaning staff, who didn't speak English, but made sure I had enough of everything that I might need. Parking is in a weird spot a little short walk from the front of the hotel, but there were plenty of spots. If I ever travel that way again, I will definitely seek out this hotel. I'm looking forward to enjoying the breakfast and the grill. Highly recommended.
