Beware that the advertised outdoor pool is only available for hotel guests if you pay an additional fee for spa access. I booked this hotel on the basis of the rooftop pool which looked like a fantastic place to relax during a solo work trip. On enquiring at reception about use of pool, I was told I couldn’t use it unless I bought a spa pass. When I went to the lovely bar/restaurant area, I stood waiting for about 10 min being ignored by a large number of staff members passing me as they had all their attention focussed on a large group booking. As a solo traveller, I wouldn’t stay here again. A pity because it’s a beautiful hotel but I didn’t have a great experience here.
