OK, but with some effort could be excellent.

I rate the room OK. The essentials worked...bed was comfortable, hot water for shower. But there was only 1 chair in the room and none on the patio so we couldn't sit on the patio together, the handle on the microwave was half broken, no ice available anywhere, and the TV was small and about 13 or 14 feet from the bed so hard to view. Also no channels available, only via Internet connection so we watched Youtube videos.

Horror night

Horrible everything! This place has not been cleaned for YEARS (I’m not afraid to say that). It was scary to sleep, especially with an infant. I was scared of rats getting to my little one, so there was no sleep at all((( never had experienced anything like this in any hotels, and I traveled quite a bit throughout my life at different places in the world, never would imagine that somewhere in the US it is possible to see this kind of “picture” I cannot name it home nor hotel.
These are the towels we were supposed to dry ourselves ((( yakhq
Dishwasher- I threw up after opening it. Stinks horribly.

DO NOT BOOK!!! The property pictures look nothing like the pictures. The room was digesting, dirty sheets, dirty floors. Window didn’t lock. Feels exceptionally unsafe. There is no playground. The beachfront is a joke. Looks like a property out of a horror movie. Exceptionally disgusting and terrifying. We ended up not checking in out of fear and leaving. The owner refused to go give a refund for our two night stay even though we never stayed due to the fact that the property is a health and safety violation waiting to happen.

WARNING - DO NOT BOOK - UNSAFE

DO NOT BOOK!!! I booked on here and I can assure you this property looks nothing like the pictures. The room was dirty, the sheets had actual rips in them. It's also a terrifying property. Looks like something out of a horror movie. I also was followed into the room my the male check in attendant whenI informed him of the state of the repulsive accommodations. This property is a serious health and safety concern. I rushed to my car with my soon and left right away. They charged my card for a to night stay and I didn't even check in. Truly a nightmare. Stay away for your health and safety.

Place sucks

We booked a King bed room. We got a two queen room and were still charged the full price. I honestly willing to look past all the construction going on. No chairs on the beach. ha ha. There was no beach. I asked the inn keeper directly if we would be charged full price. she assured me it would be the queen rate

Big Bear Lakefront Lodge is a gem!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Big Bear Lakefront Lodge! The staff (Terry and Marisol) were extremely courteous and accommodating. They offered my family a warm reception when we arrived. The view is amazing!! A beautiful, inspiring panoramic view of the lake and trees. Even better... this cozy lodge is located right smack dab in the heart of Big Bear Lake, literally down the block from the village! The beds are comfortable, room was tidy. Perfect for the family! Big Bear Lakefront Lodge is a gem!!

They had no hot water in our building but they said Hotel.com was not supposed book the rooms in the first place. They did take $100 off for our weekend tho. But continental breakfast in just a coffee machine, dry cereal and granola bars. 2 queen beds in my room and 1 of beds literally had a box spring as the mattress. Cool they had a boat dock. You can keep your boat tied up all weekend. Besides that. Not a fan

Do not recommend!

We arrived at 9pm well within lobby hours and were told that someone had left and mistakenly took the room keys with them so we had no key and that the room was unlocked and we can go right in! Not good. And that we can lock it from the inside however if we wanted to leave then we would have to leave the room unlocked. The room was a little chilly so we tried to light the fireplace, didn't work. We then tried to turn on the heater, didn't work. The young man at the front desk came and tried to fix both but no luck. There was only 1 bath towel for 3 people, just 1! So the young man had to go to other rooms that weren't occupied to get more since their dryer was broken and they didn't have extras. Ceiling and walls are paper thin so we heard everything. Microwave handle was broken. There was a coffee maker in the room but just a coffee packet, no cream, sugar, stirrer etc.... We were looking for lodge info and checked the desk drawer and the entire bottom of the drawer was missing! The outlets were old, worn out and loose so it didn't hold our charging plugs. The floor was FILTHY!! I walked barefoot from the bed to the bathroom and back and my feet were totally black. I washed off my feet and it happened again while just walking around inside the room. Terrible place, Donna was so Rude.

Donna says that she's the manager, she is very rude. We got no hot water, no heater and the TV was not working. Terrible place to stay. would not recommend this place.

Avoid this place at all costs

There is nothing good about this place. Very aged and dirty. They had plumbers working and said no hot water until 4:00 pm. I spoke to one of the plumbers and they said no hot water until next week. Apparently the owner knew this and still continued bookings, and did not disclose this beforehand. The sheets and beds were so dirty we chose to lay on top of the bed with a blanket that we brought. We left early since we could not take a hot shower and sprayed down all of our clothes with Lysol and immediately washed everything that touched that room. Steer clear of this place. I wouldn’t pay $10 a night to stay here, and they charge $200.

“The property is a bit older, but its charm is undeniable—beautifully situated right off Big Bear Lake. The location is ideal, offering easy access to events and local attractions. The beds were soft and clean, and the room was comfortably furnished with a small dining table, cabinet, fireplace, and fridge. Although breakfast was included, we had early plans and didn’t get to try it; it appeared to be a simple offering of cereal and fruit. Overall, this spot would be a great fit for families, couples, or solo travelers alike.”

This was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. The bathroom was horrendous, filthy beyond description. I dont think anyone has ever scrubbed the tub or toilet. The towels looked like they were never washed, so we went to ask for more towels at the front desk only to be given more dirty towels. There was wiring exposed in the bathroom at the light switch. We didnt even dare sleep under tbe blankets. Luckily, we had taken a throw with us and just slept on top of the comforter and used the throw. There was a strong propane odor in the hallway. We had to hold our breathe every time we ran by. I can't believe Expedia associates itself with this place. It is literally a dump. The only positive is its location.
