This hotel was horrible. We checked in around 7pm to find our hotel room wasn’t cleaned from previous guests. We asked the only gentleman working to please clean our room. He took the trash out, and made the bed with the old bedding. Pillow cases were dirty, and long strands of hair were all in the bedding.
We told him that we were going to get dinner and to please have the room straightened up for us before we return. When we returned, he did have new sheets and pillowcases on the bed, fresh towels etc.
When we arrived back into the room, my wife went to use the toilet and after she flushed, the nastiest substance came up from the bottom of the toilet and stunk up our entire hotel room. We had to tough it out and sleep with the window open, and use the restroom by the lobby downstairs whenever we had to use the restroom.
We left completely unsatisfied and were offered $25 back for compensation. This is completely unacceptable. There were two other families in the lobby complaining about the same issues with their rooms being messy upon check-in.
We will not be back.
