I think I expected something else. My room was not very well kept. The towels weren’t bleached! Also, the walls and bathroom door stained. The hallway too! The bed was u comfortable! Insane amount of money for those conditions.

The resort is nice, however between Ocean Club Resort East versus West, it is very confusing. When I booked, I was looking at the amenities, the gym, two tennis courts, FOUR restaurants, etc. I booked the resort, not realizing they are two very different resorts and do not have 4 restaurants, rather 2 between them. The shuttle service is a nice feature, but again it is very confusing when you have never been to Turks and Caicos before. We ended up being at East, I wanted to stay at West. Nice hotel, staff was friendly, not sure it was worth the $800.00 per night (including tax).

The property is pretty convenient and the rooms are very comfortable. Love the access to the beach. Our room was very private and surrounded with greenery and it was amazing to wake up and look at the window. The bar by the beach was convenient and its nice that you can also access their property on the west side. The kitchen was small but had enough for you to cook breakfast of you wanted too. One tip: regardless where you stay in Turks and caicos I strongly recommend renting a car. There is a lot of places to go eat explore outside the hotel and we saw a lot of tourists being stranded or waiting a long time for cabs in the grace bay area. Even to take them back to the airport. Also one of the best things to do is go to Fry fish on Thursdays and if you don’t have a call u will miss this amazing experience. Cons: the only thing I disliked was the use of plastic straws in the property. Ended up finding them on the beach and going into the water. For a property that pledges to be echo-friendly you need to retire the use of plastics straws specifically when being so close to the ocean.

Ocean club east had everything we (mid 60s) needed for a relaxing beach vacation. That turquoise ocean is truly mesmerizing! Older property with spacious clean rooms, nothing fancy, but had everything we needed, incl washer/dryer! All staff we encountered were polite, pleasant & accommodating. Property & pool kept very clean. The only thing we missed from home was a decent shower- lousy water pressure entire week! IMO it’s located in the perfect area for long walks on the beach, not many other hotels to the right of the property- a huge plus. If you want to venture out, the shuttle service to ocean club west resort leaves every 30”, then you can easily walk into town with more restaurants & stores. If you plan an excursion, such as a sunset sail, snorkel trip etc, most boats will pick up & drop off near dock next door “if you ask” so no taxi needed! Very convenient! An FYI. Resort was perfect for what we needed. If you’re looking for nightlife, everything shuts down at 10P. Music geared to our age group, fine with us! If you’re a family with kids, there are no play structures, kids bikes or planned children activities. There are a couple of pools without waterslides, pretty basic c/w US hotel pools, but you do have that beach with an array of floats & noodles when available. If return to TCI, we will definitely stay there again!!!

We loved the resort. It was clean and well maintained, the grounds were beautifully landscaped and manicured. It was very nice to have a restaurant on site and it was right on the beach so we had a beautiful view. The only complaint I have is that I requested to be in a building near the beach. They wouldn’t honor that request from Expedia and we were put in the building furthest away from the beach.

The beach is fabulous at this property. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was good at the cabana though pricey but there is no getting around that on TCI. Some great restaurants in walkable distances. Loved our stay, not crowded with people so the use of the pools was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

Great option for couples or families staying at Grace Bay! The resort is the perfect size so it never feels super crowded. Pools are clean and the perfect size. The beach is right off the one pool and there is a local restaurant on the premise with the perfect beach views. Our room was clean and recently updated. The staff is super friendly and accommodating! We especially loved the free bikes in the morning to ride to town for coffee and we took advantage of the shuttle to West every night for restaurants in town. Definitely would stay again!
