Had a great one-day vacation at the resort with the family and it was perfect. Amenities are top-notch and staff are wonderful. We look forward to coming back soon.

This was a special vacation for our 15th Anniversary. The grounds and the employees were wonderful. However, only one of the on-site restaurants was open and the food was horrid! We had to go offsite for all meals which caused us to explore other resorts.

We had a wonderful stay until sunday when the entire pool area was taken over by rude locals that made it a point to verbally abuse guests, shove our children out of line for the water slide and make sure we knew it was "their island" and that we were tourists and not welcome. I highly recommend that you adjust your pool policy at this resort to keep your paying customers from being subjected to verbal abuse and disrespect by locals that are using the pool during the day. It ruined the end of our vacation and made Hawaii seem like a very unwelcoming island. Disappointed.

So I saw this place and it looked large and like it had a lot to do. It also had good reviews. I understand that during Covid, things change and places cannot be as accommodating as usual. A few things to note for the hotel: 1) There is ZERO transportation. No Uber or Lyft or shuttles. You have to rent a car for $40 a day and then pay $37 a day in parking (with no in and out privileges), so we spent about $70 a day just in parking. And taxis typically cost $40 to go 5-7 miles. This made the stay so difficult. So note that there is no good way to get around 2) this place is MASSIVE (about a mile from one end to the other). So typically you will end up waking 5-8 miles a day. So not good for kids or elderly people or people who want to relax. They have a tram for the hotel but it takes 20 minutes typically to wait for it 3) they have basically no restaurants or food. There is one breakfast spot from 7-10 and one dinner spot from 5-9ish. They have NO lunch spot. All they have is a crappy pool side “cafe” which has child food (hot dogs, pizza, burger). If you want to eat healthy or have any dietary restrictions, there is absolutely no food here. And the nearest store is 1 mile away minimum 4) the front desk rarely answers. And usually when you call, they just tell you that they can’t help and you have to do whatever it is yourself. They wouldn’t even bring me glasses to my room or order a taxi for me. Not accommodating at all. All in all, this wasn’t a great place

The food options are severely limited and amenities are closed. Bars closed by 5 at pool. Shops and spa closed. No Hawaiian cultural activities. No one answered phones to reserve cabanas. They should deeply discount rooms/fees and be more upfront about the state of things. You have to drive 30+ minutes to get good food. But remember, you are traveling during a pandemic and should be grateful you are somewhere other than home. And please be nice to the staff. They are just getting back to work and unemployment is way behind in Hawaii.

Beautiful place but it looks like it needs some upgrade] and maintenance. Our hotel room is already aged. The pool also needs to be cleaned. The tram is being cleaned every round which is good. The parking is 37 dollars per night but it's not even a valet parking. It's too expensive. Overall I like the hotel because of the views and amenities but the rooms just needs some makeover.

The hotel was so big that either you wait for the tram or take a long walk. They only have one tram running. The parking lot is very far from the rooms so if you have kids or lots of luggage you’re stuck to waiting for the tram, which could take up to 20-30 minutes. There was also a lot of ants in our room. But other than that it was a very nice hotel. During covid, only one restaurant in the hotel was open.

Amazing ocean views!!!...the resort is beautiful, plenty pools and entertainment areas. Extraordinary art through out the resort!!!

Peace and quite I guess. Service was okey. Staffs were very helpful.
