the hotel may be a little aged but i always choose this if i return to taipei for non-business visit. it is a compact hotel with limited rooms. So the service can be found in various small details. Staffs are attentive and the hotel do their best to keep up the premise despite it being older compared to other newer offers in the city

The hotel was nice and elegant, if a bit dated and slightly worn around the edges. It felt like an incredibly luxurious hotel in the 90’s. The staff were impeccably attentive and helpful. The breakfast was smaller, but fairly nice. Our only problem was that it was cold in our room and we couldn’t get the thermostat to heat it any higher.

Excellent location, very good service from front office staffs and employees in the breakfast location. Breakfast selections also very good. Improvement opportunities in the bathroom though. Small matters but can make a big difference. 1. No handle in the bath tub, can be dangerous for old people 2. Water flow is not consistent between hot and cold. Can be surprisingly hotter then cold again 3. Poor Maintenance of the faucet in the wash basin. It is not working well and will leak water, cannot be easily be closed. 4. Bath tub drain stopper not working well and water is not draining fast enough. Dangerous to get out from the tub for old ppl with no handle and water pool in the tub. 5. Low battery in safe deposit box - again, simple maintenance but overlooked. 6. Bathroom amenities in disposable plastic containers - not so green after all, not to mentioned 4 disposable plastic water bottle for the guests daily. The property can improve their hotel maintenance and approach to sustainability.
