Very nice stay with river overlook. Yes a dated building but was clean and beds comfortable. Would stay again when visiting Gatlinburg as was in perfect area walk to all we needed.

I had reserved a mountainside view room, but the room had a view of the backside parking lot and a cut of the mountain. The Riverview had a view of the river and mountain. If I had known that, I would have booked a Riverview room. It was misleading. The breakfast choices were the same the 3 days we stayed there. We did notice a cockroach at the pool area, but didn't bring it up with the hotel as I did not see anymore.

Room ok parking horrible.

The front desk people were nice but when we checked in we told them our truck wouldn’t fit in parking garage spaces that were available.so they told us park a couple blocks down. We told them we would not be back until late going to baseball tournament. They gave us a paper to give to gate house. Well at 10:30 pm there is no gate person and can’t get in. Not to mention just seen a big bear and didn’t want to walk two blocks in the dark. Tried calling no answer. So parked on the street in front of hotel go in to lobby the lady tells us oh it’s fine to park in street. First shift should have told us that.

It was an okay stay…

It was fine for the few hours that we needed it for before we could go to our air bnb the next morning. Definitely a dated hotel and the elevators took forever in the morning when it was busy. We finally just used the stairs after 3 rounds of not being able to get on elevator. Room was comfortable and deck was nice and front desk staff were friendly. We didn’t get to try the breakfast as the line was long so we didn’t want to wait. Overall the friendly staff was the best part.

Bathroom was so small, couldn’t maneuver to close the door due to toilet location. Toilet ran non-stop during the day and at night. No high chairs in the breakfast area at all. Beds were alright, pool was pretty chilly but my kids enjoyed that the most. Also only 2 elevators and in the morning you may be waiting for 20-30 mins to get on. (Stairs aren’t accessible between the hotel room floors and the main area floors). Also the parking garage spaces are very condensed and difficult to get in and out of vehicles especially during the busy nights of our stay.

Mostly very good overall

The main reasons to stay here are the central location, covered garage parking, and the excellent hot tubs. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. One main drawback is the breakfast. There was no fresh food (no fruit, etc.) and the eggs and sausage taste like they were premade off premises and just reheated. We got tired of the breakfast very quickly. But otherwise, it was a very good stay.
