What you get at this resort for the price is excellent. It doesn’t have the polish of a 5-star property, but otherwise it is top notch. Most important for an all inclusive, the food was excellent. We ate almost every meal at the buffet and were not disappointed by the quality or selection. There were also not long lines at the bar.
Our rooms were very nice and about the mid-point on the property, so it was convenient to both dining and the beach/pool. The bottle of wine we got as Expedia guests was gross, but that’s ok. The pool scene was fun with music and activities at one of the pools, which kept us entertained. The staff was friendly and engaging. We particularly loved Viri, who was awesome.
Every night there was some kind of show (except one night was a guest talent show and we skipped that but we could hear the cheering so it must have been fun). The dancers for the shows were very talented.
The experience had a cruise ship vibe to it without the overcrowding and need to do excursions. Between the buffet, fun activities (think pool volleyball and a foam party in the pool), swim up bar, and entertainment, it was lots of fun. Bonus points that there were no little kids running around.
