When I walked into the foyer of the lobby, the glamour of the entrance excited me! Also, it smelled super-clean and I was happy about the on-site restaurant. I was in Tampa for the Millennium Tour and the hotel was only about a 7 minute drive from Ybor and 5 mins from the nearest mall. Definitely love the area. The only downfall was the lack of breakfast.

Meh.

Overall, the stay was fine. The room was definitely not as clean as it could be. Especially the bathroom. The hotel is old and very few upgrades to the rooms. If the lobby had been a good indicator of the rest of the property it would have been great. The tv in our room picked up nothing. No internet, no cable. We booked for the poolside bar and they don’t even use it apparently. The parking lot gets VERY full at night with the connecting restaurant traffic. Overall, meh. Overpriced for what you get.

Stay elsewhere!

Had to call desk to order housekeeping for the next day. And even then they didn’t show up. Several times were without clean towels ir washcloths. Had to pay an extra $84 resort fee - pool was not heated. Hot breakfast consisted of 3 waffle makers. On Saturday night there was nowhere to park so had to jeep driving around the lot til someone left the connected restaurant/club. There was plenty of space in the room but the only place to sit was at the desk chair or on the bed. No table was in the room. There was a refrigerator but it only had 1 shelf, and it froze everything the first night. The floor needed a good scrubbing-my socks will never be white again! Will never stay here again.

Hidden Gem

Front desk was super nice and clean. Friendly workers and very helpful!! Extended my stay for an extra day with no hassle. I was able to keep my same room and it was handled within minutes. Rooms were clean and smelled good. Not thay typically musty smell. Walls are super thin but for a weekend stay it wasn't horrible. Slept pretty well overall. My room was inward facing the pool. Not bad for a quick trip or a weekend getaway.

Disappointed

This place was ridiculous...the advertised restaurant was a latin restaurant/night club with exceptionally loud music. We had to order outside (so we could hear the waitress) and then pick up our food and eat in our room...with 1 set of plasticware. The hotel also had garbage nd lighting all over the hallways. It looked like they may have been doing upgrades/improvements but they just had junk laying all over which we had to walk all around. Not to mentio...no elevator...those suitcases were heavy carrying them 2 flights. This place was so disappointing that we canceled our post cruise stay and booked elsewhere and did not receive a refund. This hotel is also on a street in the middle of alot of car dealerships so there was no where else to go for dinner. VERY disappointing and not worth the $$$

Very disappointed

Very loud and extremely packed night club both nights of our stay! Cars were even parked on grass it was so bad, definitely a local hangout spot and was kinda scary for so many extra people to be around where we were staying. Pool was not open for our stay which was not posted in advance when we booked location. Very disappointing. Description of hotel is definitely misleading. Also, had to kill multiple roaches and could not get clean towels when requested until the following day after 9am once housekeeping arrived.

Great hitel

We had reservations at Sparks of Hilton down the road however we entered into a dog hotel. Ending up going to Quailty inn of Brandon Fl. This hotel gave us a five star experience.

Do not recommend

Stayed here for a quick weekend trip! First off the staff was extremely rude and unwelcoming while checking in. There was construction and a lot of the property was taped off with cones and caution tape. There is a Latin club next door so hope you like loud music and a ton of people constantly being loud. There was constant noises between people taking trash out rolling carts, throwing bottles in the trash, and car alarms going off. There were people constantly being loud outside and waking us up and I don’t think I slept more than a total of 3 hours due to all the loud noises. The room also had a strong smell of cleaning chemicals that didn’t go away and was burning our noses throughout the whole stay. Was good if you only wanted a bed to sleep in but only good enough if you’re not sensitive to any type of noises as you’ll be woken up often

To pricey

The place is dirty, no worthy for the price. There’s not enough party, so if you decide to go out and came back at 10pm you’re not going to find a parking. Rooms were dirty, starting from the curtains that look like If someone throw up in it; bathrooms had their walls with fingers all over and the bathtub was dirty

Noisy

Some sort of car parking lot next door where they would activate the car alarms to locate the vehicle, this happens during the day. Lots of room renovations happening throughout the hotel.
