Dirty Room, Poor Service, Unprofessional Staff
We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, we walked into our room and immediately noticed that the bed looked as if someone had already been lying on it. When we brought this up to the front desk employee, we were told that the housekeeper is ‘lazy’ and sometimes sits on the bed while making it.
We asked about changing rooms and were informed the only available room was on the bottom floor, but it likely smelled bad due to a recent leak that had soaked the carpet. Instead of offering a proper solution, we were asked to check the sheets ourselves and were handed extra sheets to change them if they were dirty.
The room itself was not well maintained—there were no toiletries stocked, no Kleenex provided, the lamp shades were stained and in poor condition, and the couch was visibly dirty and had a stain. Additionally, every time we entered or exited the property, there were people smoking cigarettes right outside the entrance, which made coming and going unpleasant.
Overall, this was not the clean or comfortable stay we expected, and the lack of professionalism and basic standards of cleanliness was disappointing.
