O hotel é muito bom para ir em família. Fica de frente para a praia, com uma piscina incrível (piscina infantil coberta, o que é ótimo) e quartos limpos, organizados e agradáveis. O café da manhã também é ótimo, bastante variedade e muito saborosos. E por fim, o staff todo do hotel é super solicito e gentil. Com certeza recomendaremos a amigos que vierem à Costa Rica :)

Disappointing Experience – Not for Youngsters or Families Staff service and food quality need serious improvement. There is absolutely no nightlife— the resort is completely dead by 9 PM. With only three restaurants, the food options are very limited and repetitive every day. The staff member responsible for booking excursions was rude and unhelpful. We were promised a special anniversary surprise by the planner before arrival, and we even had written confirmation via text messages. However, once we reached the resort, they denied everything and made no effort to resolve the issue. This resort is clearly targeted toward guests aged 60+. There are no activities for kids or young adults, no entertainment, and no nightlife whatsoever. Young couples and families should avoid this place. Do not take the all-inclusive plan—it’s better and more enjoyable to eat outside the resort. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and not worth the price.

Everything went well. Great beach location. Wonderfully, large swimming pool. Entire staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean with large balcony to relax on. And yes, the AC in the rooms worked great.

We weren’t sure what to expect, but it was a perfect location. The beach was really fun, clean and quiet! We had a rental car and went out exploring other beaches both north and south, but Flamingo was the best for hanging out and playing in the waves with the boogie board. Surfing at Tamarindo was fun but the beach itself was very busy. Margaritaville was an easy enough drive from the airport and the national park to go hike the waterfalls and volcano. If you drive yourself, be aware route 911 has a washout and you will have to drive through a small bit of riverbed. It sounds worse than it is, plenty of sedans made it through. It was dark when we first encountered it but once we drove it in the daylight it was no big deal. Traffic can be intense from 4-7 pm on the roads coming in and out of town. If you like setting your own schedule and exploring independently, definitely rent a car. Parking is free at Margaritaville! The staff was lovely, rooms very clean and loved being walking distance to numerous restaurants. Overall it was a great place to stay for our first trip to Costa Rica.

We actually got to experience three different types of rooms while we were there because we got married - we checked into the standard room which was great (a balcony overlooking the pool) and then the honeymoon suite for 3 nights which was AMAZING, following that we were moved into a 1 bedroom ocean view suite, which was also amazing. It had two balconys, a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bathroom. One of the balconys had sun loungers and the other had a table and chairs. The staff at the resort were fabulous, the food was great, the atmosphere was also great! The location was perfect as the beach that it is on was stunning. I really do not have much to complain about. It is a very small resort, one pool, I believe 4 places to eat (open at different times) but we found it just perfect.

My stay was great, now I truly understand the term ‘pura vida”; thank you to Priscilla and Jose, Felix , and the many other workers and staff(too many to recall all the names), from the staff at its 5 o’clock somewhere to the banana wind restaurant as well as the Italian restaurant Capriccios Pizza Bistro & Cafe and of course the swim up bar License to chill, it was amazing. So much I can say the front desk, housekeeping always accommodating and understanding; to make me and my family stay pleasant definitely a place to go!!

Amazing place! Best decision we made to book the Margaritaville and do the All-Inclusive package. Food was fantastic, drinks delicious, beach was perfect and pool with pool bar the best.
