I was just going to be in town for the night, looking for a cheap place to stay.
The bad....
The first thing I noticed was the sign that the elevator was out of order. And of course, the hotel clerk told me my room was on the 3rd floor and there were no other rooms closer. Not a huge issue since it was just me. I just picked out what I needed for the night and threw it in a small bag so I didn't have to haul my suitcase up 3 flights of stairs.
My main issue with the hotel was that I must have been put next to the maintenance room because there was screaming pipes all night long. Once people finally went to bed they quieted down a little bit. But when people started getting up in the morning around 6, the noise ramped up again.
The hotel looks like it hasn't been renovated in 20 years. But I wasn't expecting it to be for the price.
The bed just had a sheet and a blanket, no comforter. Once again, okay with me, I usually get hot when I sleep and so I'm kicking covers off. If you like to have that extra layer I suppose you could have requested something from the desk.
The tv screen had lines running through it and the tile in the bathroom floor was missing grout.
The good...
I found the bed to be comfortable. The room temperature I could set and it stayed where I wanted it to be in a comfortable range. I know other reviewers talked about dirty sheets and roaches, I didnt see any signs of that.
I didnt complain, not my nature, probably futile.
