Staff was very sweet and accommodating. Gym and pool were closed, unfortunately. The room looked a bit old but cozy, tub definitely needs an update. Bed was made perfectly and clean!

My first room was put out of order after I asked to be moved. The ceiling in the shower was falling down and had fallen and as laying in the tub. Wall paper was falling off the wall and trim around the door was loose and trim on the wall. There was a hair in the shower wall that wasn’t mine. The next room was clean the entire property is outdated but Sandy at the restaurant in the evening made my stay she is awesome

We had three rooms. One reserved through the hotel and 2 through hotels.com. The two through hotels.com were side by side on the 4th floor. Had to move my family out of both. We found one of them was to be out of service altogether. It had water problems and the carpet was wet and dark fluid in the sink. The room next to it also had a sink and shower leak that made the carpet wet. It smelled mildewy and the air was warm and moist even though the air was on. Our third room had an air conditioner that had a loud noise that occurred every time it kicked off. It woke everyone in the room on the hour. The next morning, my in-laws went down for breakfast. They were there when staff brought food out. It was cold. All 7 of us decided we shouldn’t have stayed there.

Staff was courteous and the room was clean. However, the air conditioner did not work properly and the shower did not have hot water. The lack of hot water was not due to it running out because the sink water would get hot.

The room is clean and a neat hotel but the room temperature was extremely hot. We turned on the air and by morning it still hadn’t cooled down by much. The night was miserable and not much sleeping was done due to how hot it was. We were tempted to sleep with our door open bc the hallway was much cooler. When we checked out and told the lady about our experience, she didn’t seem to care too much.

I called prior to our stay & requested a room with a view of the Capitol. The young lady said “I know what room to give you!” I was very pleased they could accommodate. Asked if there were other special things that would make my husbands stay more memorable & told her a couple ‘likes’. Never heard back but upon check-in we were instructed to check the fridge. We booked a junior suite. Plenty of room but items in room are dated, in disrepair & there’s a smell like sewer in the room. No air circulation. Thermostats are ancient. And a beautiful view of a large parking lot, Highway 50 & no possible view of the Capitol! I’m stumped! In the fridge is a plate with 2 pieces of cheesecake & on a side table 1 real glass & a small bottle of whiskey. TY for the whiskey! We bought our own mixer & used the toothpicks used to hold plastic wrap off the top of dessert as utensils as none we left to eat the cheesecake. Breakfast buffet was extremely poor. No coffee in 2 containers, no cream once coffee was refilled. Another guest said eggs in chaffer were cold & not to eat them. Went to a seat with black coffee. Be selective as seats are wobbly & torn up. My husband got the last spoon (only utensil out) & no napkins. I spoke to the front desk who sent out the HR director. She got things straightened up a bit but these kitchen staff employees took no pride in their service. Eat at your own risk!

Staff had trouble getting security hold to go through using two different cards. They were unpleasant about it even though both cards worked for me before check in and right after check in. Seemed to be a system problem not a card problem.
